Where is Joe Biden anguishing over the "threat to the Democratic process"? It is a part of the democratic process that we as a people have chosen. Our Republic is far from perfect but minority states and minority persons etc are more protected by the more deliberative Republican process than they would be under the mob witch hunt / lynching system that more democrat alt left systems tend to employ.

The nutsucker goons and thugs prefer a totalitarian military-industrial nazi fuehrer system mixed in with the puritan fuehrer system and pure free market communism, where they can felchgobble with impugnity.

Not exactly, as long as 37 of his electors vote for anybody other than him he will not get the 270, and then it goes to the House who will vote between the top three vote getters (as an interesting aside, the guys who designed the system assumed this would be a common occurrence).

On the other hand, not that this is likely, but apparently the House has very broad powers about deciding how to count the vote.

It was not the deliberative republican process that protected women, people of color, and working class men, women, and children. Women's rights, racial equality, and industrial worker rights were won in the streets and in the courts, dragging the privileged corporate barons and their political flunkies kicking and screaming into the 20th Century. You may have your opinions, as silly as they are, but you cannot change the history of minority rights.
