Much goes to the wayside in the name of political tribalism. Republicans value winning over science, voting rights, environmental protections, campaign finance reform, and maintaining the social safety net. Its Game of Thrones x10 with them.

Who made tribes? Feminists, multiculturists, ists, ists ists. Republicans applying science, I agree with you on campaign finance reform. McCane/Fingold always sucked. But, stop whining about citizens united.

No it isn't, Rob. It really isn't.

Never before, in the entire history of humanity, has so much power been put in the hands of someone so incompetent to hold it.

You don't remember Carter do you?
And LBJ was a monster.

I remember Carter and Carter won the cold war, was a navy sub commander, realized Rickover's who Carter served under, dream of bringing technology to the navy (military) and brought respect back to the white house after Watergate. Carter was twice the man Reagan was, a grade B actor whose public claim to fame was Bedtime for Bonzo and 20 mule team Borax.

It was the Iranian hostage crisis during a theocratic revolution inspired by (repub) CIA meddling in Iranian govt. installing the Shah and the typical repub meddling (immoral corruption) that delayed the hostages negotiated release until after the election...that got Carter nothing but cheap partisan denigration for all of the months leading up to the election and during the Iranian oil embargo.

LBJ was as corrupt as they come but also played ball with the Gulf of Tonkin lie and fiasco to build Vietnam into a long, deadly, profit center for the MIC.

Ooooweeeeuuuu, tin foil hat time. History being revised.

Funny -- I saw it as some folks desperately defending an idiot-elect.

Quite. I can't imagine them being quite so tolerant if the Democrats had elected an incompetent mouthbreather, really.

and after incessant babbling about Hilary and Obama . . . not to mention feminists and "leftists"

No obsession there.

Meanwhile, the entire world, not just a few kinkroids with sticks up their butts, is concerned about Trump.
