Ooooh. I am so jealous! I was there last year. I stayed at The Mirage. I saw the Pirates nightly free show outside Treasure Island hotel, and also a Cirque De Soleil show. I like Las Vegas for the simple reason that it makes me feel I am almost on another planet. You know, even just when you are stepping off the plane at the airport, that you are definitely "not in Kansas anymore."

My cousin lives there. She is a judge in the district court, and her hubby is an F.B.I. agent. They have an 8 year old son. I am not sure I'd want to raise a family there, but it does have some nice residential areas. Apparently, everyone has a pool in their backyard, practically, too.

So, I hope you are having fun!! I know I would be, if I were there. I would probably just skip sleeping altogether. I am not much of a gambler, but did manage to win $500 at a slot in The Mirage one morning, via some fluke of luck, on a quarter slot machine. I know how to play BlackJack, but rarely do it. I hear there are some awesome nightclubs there now. I didn't get a chance to see any, last time I was there.

You probably already have heard or read about these things, but, my opinion is: The art museum at The Venetian is worth a look, if you're in the mood for that sort of thing (I think so anyway). Taking a gondola ride at The Venetian is worth it (the gondolier will even sing to you). So is the art museum at Bellagio. The Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is kinda fun (and a bit spooky, if you are the only one in it, like I was when I was there, one afternoon). Have Fun, fun, fun! Wish I was there (reallly).

So yes - tell us some Sins!

If she is not currently listing any Sins - it must mean she is out there on the streets of Sin City as we speak, committing even more Sins. Good for her!

Maybe I am obsessing about mightclubs because I didn't get to go to any when I was there, but I've read about the following. So - If you get the Nightclub urge, I've heard the nightclub Risque', at the Paris Hotel, is one of the best. The cover is like, $20, but I think it's half of that for women. Of course, being in Las Vegas, it doesn't even open until 11pm or so. There is a more laid back lounge area with big comfy couches, and then a livelier dance floor area with seating also, that is huge.
I actually did check this club out - because I stayed at the Paris one year when I was in Las Vegas. I just didn't get a chance to go back at night.

Also, I heard the nightclubs at The Luxor (I think it's called Ra - that's the name of some Egyptian god or goddess, I think) is great. Check out the nightclub at Bellagio, too; whatever seems to happen that's newer, bigger or better on the strip, they seem to do it first. Oooh I do wish I was there now! Have a great time!
