Trump won the election by a process I happen to agree with. However...don't you think the fact that the majority of American voters did not vote for him should make you and him realize that not all his proposed policies have the support of the electorate? Knowing this fact would it not be wise to honor the majority and try to accommodate their views into his platform and stop acting like he has the total support of the American people? It's not just a few .... whining lefties... that don't agree with him...but millions more Americans than voted for him. Butch

I think the "solution" for the EC is a fairly simple one: You have a "state" (California) with 55 electoral votes. You could, theoretically have one vote send ALL 55 votes to one candidate. How does that "represent" the people of the state. It doesn't. Simply make it law that all states have to have their electoral college vote be proportionate. Easy-peasy. It wouldn't be the greatest solution, but it would make it a bit less of a reality that New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago could elect someone who is *supposed to* represent the entire country. Before some moron says: "maybe more republicans should move to cities", I would say: "and fucking live ... where?" The cities are over-crowded to begin with. That to the side, I think voting is going to start changing in the cities, anyway. Plenty of black voters are realizing what a sham the once-every-four-years promises of the Dumbocratic party are. Spencer said Friday he's thinking about running for the U.S. House seat that would be vacated if U.S. Rep.
