blondesassyslave's post about collars has reminded me that i have seen many women wearing them of late. In particular there was one woman wearing a pink leather collar with sparkily stones on the front. It was really very cute, and since she was wearing pink shoes and a pink top-and carried with her a pink bag of course-I thought nothing of it at the time, it really did look like a fashon accessory moreso than any lifestyle statement. Now i am male, and i am new to BDSM, so perhaps many people have found colour coordinating ways to include their collar with their outfit, but i wonder if it is not just a current trend for all?

Choker style jewelry has cycled through fashion since the beginning of time both for men and women. Leather collars with buckles have been fashion accessory trends for quite a while with punk rockers, goths, urban youth, emos and other subcultures.
