I guess it makes sense that we have to do something if we can actually prove that Russia helped the US citizens obtain valuable information about HC before the election. And it makes more sense for Obama to do it, since he wasn't involved in the election, versus Trump. I guess it also would provide Trump a few more cards to negotiate with Russia when he takes office in a few weeks.
