FR I've been blessed with wonderful family and friends, for whom I'm deeply grateful. But I've never quite gotten the hang of "much less anything else." Over the years, I've identified assorted reasons for that: obesity, depression, shyness, fear of the dark nature of my desires, a mothlike attraction to unavailable men, unrealistic expectations, lack of role models. Lately, though, it's struck me that another key factor is almost certainly a tendency to focus on what I'd like from a guy rather than what I have to offer.
