GOP hard-liners might accept $1 trillion budget gap to end Obamacare

For many in the House Freedom Caucus, a repeal of the health law is more important than fiscal discipline.

The 'conservatives' (what a double speak moniker for nutsuckers) are not and have never been fiscally responsible. They have been selling out this country to the lowest bidder for decades.

I wonder who on here is going to be affected by the repeal without replacement?
they have had how long to craft something? they still dont have anything to replace it with...and that it "could " take until next year?
WHo thinks prices will decrease ?

How many are going to suffer and end up owing huge hospital bills for ongoing medical care ?
I know there is a lot of talk about keeping the pre existing condition and the child until 26 coverage, but how many people are going to suffer because of their arrogance.?

Of course they could announce single payer or medicare for all...but then I would have to seriously rethink my attitude.

Hatred so strong they don't mind paying for it . . . er, making taxpayers pay for it.

Whats a budget gap - they always rename these things

But they used to be called
1. The trade deficit. This is run per annum and anything in the red gets whapped onto number 2 at the end of the year before they start afresh
2. The deficit also known as national debt and that runs from year one and just goes up and up and up :)

The difference between what they're planning to spend and the trickle of Federal income that's left after they've finished giving tax cuts to corporate bodies and venture capitalists.
Although in some circles, the "budget gap" is the space in the altars built by libertarians in which they burn candles (that they have soaked in the blood of children who've died in poverty) before the images of Ayn Rand, Robert Heinlein and Milton Friedman, who they worship as incarnate Gods the way Hindus venerate Shiva's avatars.

They used to at least pretend.
