Senate to Push Trump’s Picks With Some Unvetted

The head of the Office of Government Ethics said he knew of no occasion when the Senate had held a confirmation hearing before his office completed its background review.

Sessions deserve a good hard probing with his record. In fact Id like to see all of em....probed, dems, ind, and repubs.
Without them being able to buy anybody off. I mean thats what the voters voted for wasnt it, no corruption???
well apart from repeal of obamacare, the wall, the moozies, jailin hils?
etc etc ad nauseam

There's an interesting article that makes the case "drain the swamp" didn't mean anti-establishment, but rather anti-intellectual.

FR

This might help explain the zeal to evade vetting.

Conservative author and television personality Monica Crowley, whom Donald Trump has tapped for a top national security communications role, plagiarized large sections of her 2012 book, a CNN KFile review has found.

The review of Crowley’s June 2012 book, "What The (Bleep) Just Happened," found upwards of 50 examples of plagiarism from numerous sources, including the copying with minor changes of news articles, other columnists, think tanks, and Wikipedia. The New York Times bestseller, published by the HarperCollins imprint Broadside Books, contains no notes or bibliography.

without disagreeing with what bosco wrote in the post above, this is pretty bad for monica Crowley. I looked at the examples on the cnn page and they are pretty egregious.

its inexplicable to me that a book containing factual statements could be written and brought to print, without referencing. the author, the editor and publishers should be ashamed.

Creatures team is shaping up rather nicely.

Trumpacare - Josef Mengele
Supreme Court - Darth Vader
EPA - A bucket of gasoline
Twitter spokesman – an insane turnip
Federal Reserve - Trumps wheelbarrow

If?

It's a daily occurrence.

Yeah. But rushing to evade vetting just screams bullshit. There's no reason not to vet, unless the vetting isn't going to go well, in which case, they shouldn't be confirmed.

At least before the GOP got to town.
