I saw it back then. I don't remember much but I wonder who in Russia threatened to shut down ABC there. I doubt it was Putin. Amerika was back in the Soviet days and they were oppressive. Things have changed, not that we would accept any outside rule anyway. Or would we ? There are foreign lobbyists all over the place, just returning our foreign aid to the pockets of congress, AIPAC being the biggest one. It is because of a treaty that the US cannot make pot legal on a national level. and there are a few other things. Democrats have tried to get us into gun control at the behest of other countries via treaty. In short, this country is under quite a bit of foreign influence right now. Foreigners tell police departments what to look for in terrorists. A book by Ayn Rand, a copy of the Constitution or even mentioning it during a traffic stop. I said it any any years ago that we would become like Russia was then and they would become like we were. And it is happening. I spoke with a Russian immigrant and he asks "Where is the freedom ?". They don't need fishing licenses there. I fact ask yourself why we need them here. They say nature needs maintenance. And in Russia, once you qualify with a firearm, your hunting license is good for life. They also do not take your driver's license away for child support and other stupid shit. And it is not a dictatorship at all. The USSR days, yes, but not no mo. People have real jobs, disposable income, all kinds of things, and that is why they support Putin. Putin will not let the Soviet types have any real power, limits the types of businesses they can have and all that. He is NOT letting that happen again. True he was a real prick when building his fortune, but now he has it made. And as far as being the ex-head of the KGB, well in the US the ex-head of the CIA got elected President. Amerika was a nice piece of fiction, but the whole premise is fiction. There is no way in hell any government of the US would give up sovereignty IN THAT WAY. What we have now is the influence of the globalists chipping away at it. If I read Trump right he wants no part of that shit and I totally agree. I totally agree with a few other of his ideas as well. And put the pressure on these companies to keep jobs here. The problem is he has to get some legislation going to do so, to make it less attractive to move out. He simply can't go around to every business and give them the pep talk. But back to that show - it was typical fear mongering. The whole red threat was just to scare people into emptying their pockets to support a huge military arms buildup. Russia was never going to attack the US and the US was never going to attack Russia. Ever. Got that ? Mutually assured destruction. The people with access to the button are rich and got it made and they do not want their shit fucked up. All these treaties happened AFTER the Soviets and US had enough weapons. Another thing, why don't we just bomb Iran ? Other than retaliation from Russia that is. Because what we want is control of their natural resources and banks. Can't drill for oil in a lead suit in 100 degree heat through a glass parking lot. So Amerika made assumptions. They would use heavy weapons and bomb the place ? They wouldn't cut their nose off to spite their face like that. the US might, just because. Even that is doubtful. Yes, it was a nice little fictional scary movie. That is all. T^T
