ORIGINAL: CreativeDominant No. But if you yourself do happen to be a fan of some musical star who happens to be a conservative, do you want to pay 50 - 500 bucks for a seat to their concert and...instead of grooving to the music...get your head filled with his diatribe against Obama and what's wrong with supporting some liberal cause? Or do you want to hear the music and see the spectacle you paid for? I want to take a stab at this! It's going to be fairly direct: For whatever reason, most of my favorite bands/performers (those I would actually go pay to see) have been politics-neutral. That's not intentional on my part. It's just the way it's turned out (with rare exceptions). When I first started listening to Ted Nugent (1975), he wasn't political, to the best of my knowledge. Honestly, I don't care what their political views are, as long as they don't try to preach to me from the stage. Of course, there's exceptions there, too. I was never really a fan of Bruce Bedsprings (but I was a fan of the Big Man), but I listened to whatever crappy song of his came on the radio ... until his "41 Bullets" (or was it: "Shots"?). Now, when one of his songs comes on, I switch to the Thumb Drive. Michael
