Do they teach anything ? They got remedial courses for all the shit people did not learn in highschool. They type like some people here, don't know their, there and they're. It is as if they never got past hooked on phonics. They can do algebraic equation, but not simple multiplication and division unless they have a calculator.
But they do know the mating habits of some animal in the jungle. And of course new sociology and new history. They know to eat alot of carbs because your body only needs carbon, hydrogen and oxyge to live. they know how you should never eat fat because there are no fat soluble nutrients. they kow what pot smells like so they can turn their Parents in for smoking. I remember seeing a news story about a kid who did just that and then was crying when the cops came and took everyone away. I am sure they dangled custody in front of them but I would have said "Keep the kid, anyone ore loyal to you than family should stay with you".
And it starts in the home. Kids used to know how read by the time they first went to school, at least simple things, and simple math. Now kindergarten teachers bitch that they don't even know their colors and basic shapes.
The whole system needs a total overhaul, stem to stern.
Last but not least, if you are a student, you adapt to the school, not the other way around.
