ORIGINAL: Lucylastic And all you can do is copy and paste townhall to cover your own ignorance and lack of ability to think. typically lucy I have no interest in talking with you, but on this occasion, i'll enjoy just this reply. ive made ~3600 posts since ive been here. I just did a search with me as the author and "townhall" as the search term. granted the search function is sometimes problematic, but I did it twice, and each time came up with 187 hits. so roughly 5% of my posts are copy/pastes from townhall. (does basic math or research require an ability to think?) only ~4 of my last 50 posts have been from townhall. most of the rest have not been from any articles. ive posted snippets and pieces and/or whole articles from many dozens of different places. my guess is over a couple hundred. consider some potentialities here (pretty big word for someone who lacks ability to think wouldn't you say?) have you considered that in order to know what to post (when I do copy/paste an article) requires that I actually know whats in the article and that's its both consistent with my own beliefs and germane to the conversation? (germane---another big word there huh?) have you considered that at times, an article posting is used to corroborate (oh gee, yet another) or add authority to something ive just said? that sometimes an article or reference material posting adds needed information to the discussion? that sometimes I post articles for the sake of other people to read? that since the people who write for a living, sometimes articulate what im thinking better than I could articulate it and so its helpful to have their help? also, since this is their job, they are immersed in what we're talking about, and add perspective and authority that we personally cannot give? that im actually very academic and realize that good argument requires sources? that news matters? that "opinions" require informing? it seems like you must not have considered any of those things, because doing them requires some sort of "knowledge" on my part and you certainly wouldn't have called me ignorant had you known all those things. although...if the shoe fits on your foot here... (seems like it does, you know?) (I was being sarcastic there---does that require thinking?) and that you've missed all the times where ive critiqued posts and/or articles posted by the comrades here without using other articles? that you've missed the times where I have, independent of posting articles, articulated the conservative-libertarian, pro life, pro free market, Christian/biblical position? (how did I get to know/do all that without thinking??) (clearly you have, because certainly you wouldn't stoop to lying or misrepresenting right??) id say, given what I just wrote, at least as concerns me, any "ignorance and lack of ability to think" lands wholly in your camp. now---if you don't like when people who take offense at your mnottertroll's antics and they call him out on it in a myriad of ways, rather than come to his defense at the expense of the truth (see all the above), try spending your energy instead on getting him to clean up his act. or you can keep looking foolish by saying things like you just did... one last thought lucy, though when I made this post initially I edited the part out of your quote where you suggested I just ignore mnottertroll---I come from a perspective of confronting evil wherever I find it, and cleaning up whatever little part of the world I find myself in, in what ever way I can find to do it.
