The state department of financial services is mandating that health insurers in New York provide for at least one form of FDA-approved contraception exceeding a month's supply at a time. Women would also be provided medically necessary abortions without co-pays or deductibles.


I think this is good.

I don't support funding all kinds of abortion, like voluntary abortions. But medically necessary abortions should be covered. It is covered in my own health insurance. I am surprise they would refuse to cover medically necessary abortions in the first place!

If it involves saving the mother's life, it should be covered.

And if there is one investment the government should be investing in. This should not even be an Insurance thing. Contraceptive should be made FREE to all women by the government.

It's a worthy investment. Give out more free contraceptive, more education on safe sex, encourage everyone to have safe sex so that we don't have to deal with unwanted babies.

I cant disagree with you there, its also good for the women who birth( or dont ) the men who will become fathers, the real human anatomy and how it works, and the kids to stop having kids.
