Trump told CNN in March that moving the embassy would happen "very quickly."
CNN's Oren Liebermann, who is based in Jerusalem, walks us through what's at stake.

It will mark the official demise of the Two State Solution (TSS) permanently. Most astute observers of Occupied Palestine have known for several years that the extent of Israeli colonising of the West Bank had eliminated any possibility of a viable contiguous Palestinian State. But politicians around the world have clung to the possibility of a TSS as the only possible solution. That will no longer be possible.

We already have a de facto One State Solution and Israeli intransigence means there is no sign of that changing at any future date . So what remains to be resolved is the status of indigenous Palestinians in that State. Will they be ethnically cleansed out of the State, will it be a full on apartheid State where Palestinians have no rights in perpetuity or will they be granted human rights, including the right to vote and be able to participate in deciding their future?

That's not going to win him any points with Sharia law loving alt left types, and the "feminists" who adore them - but what does he have to lose with that crowd. Might win a lot of Jewish voters over to the Republican party though.

Just about all that will leave the Dems are the the rioters and looters, the police assassins, the communists, and the bank-whore elitists
