Probably less funny to Republicans in Congress who expect to have to decide when to fall on their own sword politically by impeaching Trump to save the GOP, and America. I think they are hoping it becomes a mass sentiment before they Have to do something. Given the credulity of so many posters here, that may not happen.

Quite. Myself, I'm more inclined to suspect it's a carefully cultivated double standard in a lot of cases rather than credulity, though.

Yeah, we already have the largest military in the world, spend half what the world spends on military, including Congress buying things the military doesn't want or need, and still -- Trump wants to spend more. It's forced consumerism. And more war coming.
