So...billions on a fence we're calling a wall, then billions more to increase ICE by 25%, including recruiting and training the agents needed for the enforcement Donald wants to do, then more for the processing . . .

Where is this money coming from?

Obama racked up what, ten trillion in debt? And I don't recall anyone on the left ever breathing a word about it.

Ever.

To the subject though, President Trump is cutting back drastically what we are wasting at the UN, etc etc etc

Just the jobs he has saved from going over the border to Mexico already will bring in substantial tax revenue (so the Mexicans are paying for it)

On and on, so try not to worry your little head about it none 'cause it's gonna be all right

Well, we pay for the Obamaphones with a fee on the phone bills of people who pay their own, so how about a fee on any money transfers to Mexico? We could also deduct it from the foreign aid we send down there.

You need to pace yourself, dude. I'd hate to see you pop a major blood vessel and wind up like Ron.

I don't really know how he will pay for it, nor do I think any of us really know, but I think he might cut aid to them, if they want military equipment, pay full boat. If they want to import stuff, charge a huge tarriff. If they want anything, refuse it. There will be an Anti-American backlash which will cost them their tourist dollars. In the end, they pay, one way or the other.

You know, it's interesting -- there's an election campaign going on in Mexico, and they're using this issue big time. There could be a power shift.

Tourist $$ no longer floating into Mexico isn't going to fund the wall. Mexico will lose $$, but that money isn't going towards building the wall.

I don't know, but there's no shortage of ways to do it. Some possibilities have already been offered. Here's another: One of the border issues is drugs, so he could transfer DEA agents. It's not hard to see ways to make it work if you think about it. You just seem to have Trump stuck up your ass, even to the point of posting fake news, twice, and not only twice but from the same fake news site, even after posters told you it was a fake the first time. This isn't like you, MM. This isn't even you, period. We haven't always agreed, but you're not this intellectually numb.

Its about time there were some waves made, the status quo is unacceptable. Where do you think a President Trump comes from.

$15-25 billion to build a wall that won't work once it's done. That's the size of NASA's budget.

Then it has to be staffed and maintained.

Bad and expensive idea.

Even Mexico knows.
