Senate Democrats geared up for battle with President Donald Trump by preparing to talk to people who voted for him — and by hearing from one of his arch-nemeses.

Gathering in Sheperdstown, West Virginia, Democrats were scheduled to hear Thursday from liberal political operative David Brock, Center for American Progress CEO Neera Tanden and Priorities USA CEO Guy Cecil in a session called “Hold Trump Accountable.” Earlier in the day, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) moderated a “discussion with Trump voters," according to a draft schedule obtained by POLITICO.

Manchin and nine other Senate Democrats are up for reelection next year in states that Trump won. Much of the event appears geared at figuring out how to turn people who supported Trump into Democratic voters in 2018.

Former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear (D), along with Sens. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.) and Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), held a session on “speaking to those who feel invisible in rural America," according to the schedule. Other sessions were along similar lines: “Listening to those who feel unheard” and “Rising America — They feel unheard too.”

8) “Radical position” – Relatively popular non-liberal positions that have been around as long as anyone can remember -- that liberals have recently decided to oppose almost entirely to make themselves appear more sensitive. Example: Refusing to change the name of the Redskins or believing you can’t change genders via surgery is a radical position.

9) “Angry, white male” – A white guy who votes Republican.

10) “Anti-intellectual” – Those who refuse to acknowledge that liberal college professors who couldn’t cut it outside of a university or MSNBC are right about everything.

11) “Racist” -- Those who believe that people should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin and those who believe in enforcing the immigration laws that are already on the books.

12) “Climate change denier” -- Someone who actually judges global warming based on the available scientific evidence instead of coming up with a socialistic agenda first and then passing out grant money to any scientists who are willing to attempt to justify it.

13) “Bipartisanship” – When Republicans cooperate with Democrats to push the liberal agenda. Not to be confused with “selling out” which happens when liberals cooperate with Republicans to push their agenda.

14) “Heartless” – Supporting programs based on whether they work and are good for the country instead of selecting programs to back based on how good they make you feel about yourself.

15) “Open Minded” – Mindlessly agreeing with Nancy Pelosi and Michael Moore 100% on every issue.

16) “A Courageous Speech” -- When one liberal gives a self-congratulatory speech to another group of liberals that restates things they all believe.

17) “The American Flag” -- A symbol of oppression waved by ignorant, bucktoothed hillbillies dumb enough to think that this is a great place to live.

18) “Guns” -- The cause of all crime.

19) “Jesus” -- Someone who is completely irrelevant to any and all political matters unless you’re claiming He would definitely support gay marriage or abortion.

20) “Hands up, don’t shoot” --The police shouldn’t be allowed to shoot people with their hands up or people pointing toy guns at them or people trying to kill them or pretty much anybody, for any reason.

If you liked your doctor and wanted to keep your doctor, if you wear pants rather than pajamas when you leave the house, if you were passed over for the job even though you got a 95 on the civil-service test — you know what you are.

You may be a deplorable if you don’t think you should have to press one for English.

If you lost your security clearance and your job for mishandling classified information, you are deplorable.

You may be a deplorable if you identify as a member of the gender in which you were born.

Or if you drained your 401(k) or took out a second mortgage on your house to pay for your kid’s tuition at UMass while the illegal alien down the hall goes on the arm.

Or if you believe that good fences make good neighbors.

You’re most definitely a deplorable if you have an American flag flying in your front yard.

Or if you’ve never windsurfed with John Kerry on Nantucket, or stood in line with Sen. Warren at your local “cheese shop.”

You are a deplorable if you believe All Lives Matter.

Of late? Maybe you're not old enough to remember the Dumbocrats in congress telling people how the republicans wanted everyone's grandmother to be eating dog food (late '70s to early '80s. I forget the exact year). That makes it closer to 40 years than "of late".

Businessman accused of attacking Muslim JFK airport worker

NEW YORK (AP) — A businessman attacked a Muslim employee at a Kennedy Airport lounge, kicking her, shouting obscenities at her and saying that President Donald Trump "will get rid of all of you," authorities said.
Robin Rhodes, of Worcester, Massachusetts, had arrived from Aruba and was awaiting a connecting flight to Massachusetts on Wednesday night when he approached Rabeeya Khan, who wears a hijab, at the Sky Club in Terminal 2 while she was sitting in the utility office, authorities said. Khan is a contracted employee based at the Sky Club and works for a facility services company called ISS, according to Delta.
Khan told police that Rhodes came to the door and went on a profanity-laced tirade, asking her if she was praying, District Attorney Richard A. Brown said. Rhodes then punched the door, which hit the back of Khan's chair, he said. The 60-year-old Khan asked Rhodes what she had done to him and Rhodes said she'd done nothing, authorities said. He then cursed at her and kicked her in the leg, Khan told police.
When another person tried to calm him down, Rhodes moved away from the door and Khan ran out of the office to the front desk at the club, authorities said. Rhodes, 57, followed her, got down on his knees and began to bow down to imitate Muslim prayers and shouted obscenities, investigators said.
Khan recalled Rhodes saying: "Trump is here now. He will get rid of all of you. You can ask Germany, Belgium and France about these kinds of people. You see what happens," prosecutors said.
At the time of his arrest, Rhodes told officers, "I guess I am going to jail for disorderly conduct," Brown said.
The airline condemned the behavior in a statement Friday.
"What happened in this incident is totally unacceptable and Delta has made its stance clear on these types of events," Delta said in the statement. "People who are violent or exhibit bullying behavior are not welcome."
Rhodes appeared in court Thursday night on charges of assault and menacing as hate crimes and is being held on $30,000 bail. He was represented by a public defender for the court hearing, but will have to get his own attorney for subsequent proceedings. His next court date is Feb. 8.
His mother, Dorothy Rhodes, said the behavior alleged by authorities is uncharacteristic of her son.
"It's not like him at all," she said. "He's not a violent person. He's very kind."
Robin Rhodes is the president of Nitrofreeze Cryogenic Solutions, a metals company based in Worcester.
Dorothy Rhodes said her son "goes out of his way to hire people of different races and ethnicities."
Brown said Rhode displayed bigotry and hatred that "have no place in a civilized society — especially in Queens County, the most culturally diverse county in the nation."
Khan was taking some time off from work, her employer said.
"Our main priority right now is to ensure that the involved employee knows how much we support and value her," ISS said in a statement. "When she is ready, we look forward to her safe return to work."
