Typical poll of late.

heavyblinker -> RE: Trump did something. (1/29/2017 7:16:57 PM)

It wouldn't be like this if he wasn't doing so many stupid things.

No, it shows that you are against it without knowing or caring what the truth is.

Bama, while I would have much preferred the Pink Panther over ANY of the idiots who ran for any seat in DC, it is a fact that so far, everyone of Trumps executive orders thus far has been challenged or is going to be challenged in court.

That being said, IF, before he took out his pen and started writing, he asked the White House attorneys IF what he was going to do was constitutional, and if not, how could he do it in a Constitutional manner, it would have showed some common sense.

HOWEVER, he, like that fucking idiot he just replaced, seems to think that an executive order is above the power of the courts to throw out.

They are not the first presidents to think so, FDR tried it with his new deal programs, over half of which were deemed unconstitutional.

I agree that Muslims coming into the states from certain countries need to be vetted better (there is a shock to some) which should be done before the visa is issued, which would mean a shit ton more pencil pushers working in embassies in those countries.

And, while there is at least one from Singapore who will be getting a major wake up with Trump's announcement he is pulling the US out of the Asian free trade agreement which is going to place a shit ton of tariffs on goods produced in Singapore imported into the US, which the businesses in Singapore will be paying to the coffers of the US treasury department....

There might be a rise in unemployment in the future for Singapore.

And, his okaying the use of torture by executive order goes against a law passed by congress, which may or may not be grounds for impeachment, since the commander in chief cannot overtly order members of the Intelligence agencies or military to knowingly violate the Geneva conventions, but then anyone that follows such an executive order is subject to being charged with war crimes, or in the absence of a declared war, crimes against humanity....

And his order banning Muslims from entering the country or even leaving the airports where they arrived is in violation of god knows how many treaties and a number of international laws....

How about we say he might have jumped into the deep end of the pool with a rather large brick?

Seriously there are many ways to do exactly what he wants to do without pissing off just about every country on the planet. You know, the sixties adage, fuck the system by using the system against itself?

Note that I didn't say what he did. It could have been something as innocent as taking a drink of water.
I have seen one thing he is talking about that should be getting a lot of attention an so far nobody is smart enough to say a word about it. I am not going to point it out yet because I want to see if he follows through and if anyone sees the problem. You o no that Carter did an immigration OC that was just like this one and nobody had a problem with it.

Are you referring to Donald Trump's threat to send the feds into Chicago ... and how he could use the same power to take over sanctuary cities if they fail to enforce federal law?

Bush didn't get impeached.

Don't be silly.
1) Trump loves Singapore, he definitely look to our country as one of the role models.
2) Singapore exports into US makes up only 6.7% of our total exports. US is an insignificant market to us. They buy from China. Not us. Our goods are way more expensive for it to be cost effective for them anyway.
3) Singapore already have a Free Trade agreement with the US! Just between us both countries. WITHOUT TPP, we already got it.

What may affect us is when Trump tax US companies who run overseas operations. Many US companies set up operations here, because, taxes are good and environment is good, low crime, and no disruptions like riots or protest or whatever that could disrupt daily operations. But if Trump tax these companies forcing them to return to the US.

Then well, I don't expect US to make policies that benefit Singapore. Trump is doing great if he is making all the US companies go back to their home soil. He is so gonna be the Jobs President that he said he was gonna be!

So gun control's perfectly acceptable if it's done in a partisan fashion, rather than taking all of the guns, and there's a chunk of the population that the constitution just doesn't apply to?

No, it shows that you're desperate to believe that all of these reactions are merely blindly partisan so that you can pretend that Trump's incompetence is perfectly acceptable.

What happened to 'I don't like either of these candidates'? What happened to 'anyone who thinks Trump is actually going to do the ridiculous shit he is promising to do is kidding themselves'? I thought all of the fascism was supposed to be campaign rhetoric and he was going to turn into a normal politician? Turns out it's real-- surprise!

Now you're defending all of this pointless antagonism, racism, narcissism, ADHD tweeting, and mindless authoritarian executive action shit as if it is something you've always supported, and going all the way to pretending anyone who opposes it is simply buying into the media ploy to victimize poor innocent Donald Trump.

So at what point will you actually object to this vile desecration of western liberal democracy? It wouldn't surprise me if you ended up defending nuclear war with North Korea, Muslim genocide, and/or full-scale global trade war simply because you like the fact that Hillary didn't win.
