Possibly, but many of our resident trumptooners make a point of ignoring any sarcasm in order to take any statement made by somebody on the other side that can be spun as an attack or threat at face value. If they don't want to recognise irony, expecting anybody else to do so seems a bit feeble, if we're honest.

Yeah, I've noticed.
For people who enjoy stressing what edgy badasses they are by going on about the lefties being a bunch of crybabies and sore losers, they certainly spend enough of their time on here screeching and wailing like little girls, don't they? I suppose that after the massive tantrum the whole of the right have been throwing for eight years, they're still a bit mardy and hysterical and haven't had time to calm down any since November.

And the good news is that this hilarious comedy is scheduled to run for the next 4 years.

At the end of those 4 years, I would imagine that all the damage will have been done, the jokes will have fallen flat and this amateur show will be consigned to the dung heap of history, to be remembered with all the affection and fondness with which we recall the McCarthy era.

In fact Spicer has managed to make himself and the Administration he serves both laughing stocks around the world. In the media, comparisons to the notorious "Comical Ali' of Suddam Hussein's Iraq are commonplace. His mate KellyAnne's concept of "alternative facts" was greeted with universal derision.

To seriously trash your own credibility so comprehensively and with such finality in only 11 days is quite an achievement, though no sane person would take any pride in such an accomplishment.
