Why Angels Sit on Top of Christmas Trees

A long ago and very far away Santa was getting ready for his annual trip...but there were problems every where. Four of the elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule....then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mom was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out heaven knows where and Rudolph's nose wouldn't light up... more stress. And then, when he began to load the sleigh one of the bags ripped, scattering all the toys. Frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey... but he found that the elves had hit the liquor cupboard and there was nothing there to drink! Just then in walked the littlest angel. "Santa" she said, "Where do you want me to stick this tree?" And he told her. That is why angels sit on top of Christmas Trees to this day.

lol that was good - however I might not share that version wiht my pre schoolers - altho their kindergarten teachers might get a laugh - ty for making me smile.

I have a CD of xmas song parodies... Bob Rivers? Anyway, it includes a little bit of dialog between a father and his daughter about putting the angel on top of the tree. The angle is screaming in pain and begging for mercy.

How come they don't sell bondage angels for the tops of trees? Even my vanilla friends would buy it just for the kitch value.
