o one has yet mentioned that Neil's mama was Anne Gorsuch, who lasted just less than two years in the early "Let'er Rip!" Reagan years. She did exactly what Reagan wanted, he nor she caring how it got done. She apparently took the latter notion too much to heart, thus was kicked out for various and sundry accounting and other improprieties in endeavor to destroy the EPA from within and from above, as 'administrator' of that department. Al Capone as would be 'administrator' of the FBI is pretty much how that went. Same with James Watt at Sec. of the Interior. But the couple of blurbs I've read about Gorsuch Jr. is that he's supposedly learned from mistakes of others, not mentioning whom. The first lesson for those in the political realm, including judges, is 'Don't get caught.' Democrats are really bad about that, but Republicans have the media on their side to cover up when needed, unless they really go overboard. Yes, the labor-hating union-despising mega-conglomerate so-called "liberal media." In any case, learning how to not get thrown under the bus, like his mom was by Reagan, is another most valuable lesson. Careful where you step, and all that. But yeah, as in comparison to having the "Slave Wage King" Puzder as Sec. Labor, "Oil King" Tillerson as Sec. Defense, "Foreclosure King" Mnuchin as Sec. Treasury, "Racist Motherfucker King" Sessions as AG, "Bankruptcy King" Ross as Sec. Commerce ... I'm almost expecting Annie's son to come riding into town in a red 1968 VW microbus, a la Alice's Restaurant. I'm not expecting him to say "Yes sir, Officer Obie, I can't lie, I put that envelope under that garbage." But the media would have an easy time painting him that way considering the above, if they so chose, that being their forté.
