Um, well on the brighter side, there are a few things good that came out of this:

1) A local restaurant created a "Bowling Green Massacre" themed pizza and has set sale records with it.
2) It seems that the city has had a dramatic increase in visitors who want to see the site of the 'massacre'
3) the local college has admitted to being a party to repeated massacres.... in their football stadium, and 'fears' Homeland Security investigations and arrests of their key players.

The one thing that I find most humorous is the simple fact that during the campaign and after he took office, any reporter who made a mistake was hounded about the mistake by phone or in conservative press interviews, and by Kellyanne Conway.

Where as retractions of misquotes and erroneous stories were often done with in a couple of hours, Ms. Conway did not correct her statement until the next day.

Where, given a chance and if he would avail himself to experts, both in his cabinet and the white house legal department, Trump could become a good, possibly great president, if this kind of thing and reaction is the norm, I believe the next four years will prove a disaster for the country.

And there would be little chance to win re-election.

Do you think he'll survive 4 years? If he continues to dis the judiciary, he could spark a Constitutional crisis. Or will he attempt to grab power and end the Constitution?

I was trying to be optimistic, and for a confirmed, devote pessimist, it is a hard thing to do.

As much as I do not like the man, he is our president, and as such, deserves at least some respect. Which is what libs were saying about Obama, Cons were saying about Dubya Bush, Libs were saying about Clinton....

Hmm, do I detect a trend here?

I mean face reality, we are stuck with a crop of politicians who claim to want what is best for the country, who cant work together on anything from toilet paper to the budget, ran for office just for the money and whatever they can grab for themselves.

And I am talking about both parties.

Seriously, some of the stuff coming out of Washington reminds me of a couple of Three Stooges episodes where they were the leaders a country.

In fact, I think we would be better off with the Three Stooges, Keystone Cops, Martin and Lewis and Buster Keaton running the country.

The sad truth about American politics is that a level headed individual with common sense could not get elected garbage collector.

I would rather have Reagan again, and I am not now, nor ever was a fan of his.

4 years nope - he will scorch the Earth and alienate every nation on earth

Speaking as a Scottish person - fuk America, and england...speaking as a British person I have said since the beginning of time we stand by America, and that really pains me to say that. But now I say no more because you have an atrocity of a huwman trying to rewrite what little is left of your worthless constitution...for him to get into that position he was enabled by 25% of American mongrels. (to be clear 75% of Americans I dont really mind - same with those Englishpigdawgs ;) and for balance 10-20% of my lands (humans)

You do.
Myself, I have no time for partisan pleading for respect for one side's guy, as it stinks of hypocrisy. Either all deserve respect for their office, or none do.

A true man would write they all do: give all a chance, save that monstrous lying cunt of feeble intellect.and a total dangerous bastard Wicked no can do with that lying rat bastard of chaos. i'd rather give the devil a chance.

Impeachment, constitutional removal or assassination would be good, but the tiny-handed orange shitehawk will probably get a second term.

I'm personally less worried about a second term than, now having ensconced himself in the Oval Office, Trump making himself President for life.

As for when the Massacre happened, I had roped and saddled and was riding the whirlwind.

Shit, I hadn't thought of that one. That's a worrying thought.
Still, maybe we'll all get lucky and the cunt-eyed shitgibbon will drop dead of a coronary or a stroke or something before the end of the year.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Where were you on 'Bowling Green Massacre' day? (2/5/2017 3:38:54 PM)

FR to the OP.
The proper term is HERD of unicorns, not flock.
Pegasi occur in flocks.

Yes, I have heard of unicorns.
Why do you ask?

jlf1961 -> RE: Where were you on 'Bowling Green Massacre' day? (2/7/2017 4:59:25 AM)

Actually, due to the fact that Pegai (plural of Pegasus) also are referred to as herds, due to their primarily being an equine creature.

Now Harpies occur in flocks, or gaggles (when referring to the primarily human form which is also always female.)

As for unicorns, which are primarily solitary creatures, only gathering in herds for mating, it must be noted to actually see on is rare....

He trashed his respect even before he took office, unable to grasp that he wasn't president yet.

Upon taking office, he trashed it even further.

Trump's no victim. He's earned every slight.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Where were you on 'Bowling Green Massacre' day? (2/7/2017 9:31:51 AM)

Your three dilemma prophecy – Unlike you whoremods I have always shied away from prophesising mentioning the third may occur due to the inherent makeup of American minds and the ease of access they have to formidable weaponry and doomsday devices from their local stores…as you’ve mentioned that one a lot I concur but in no way do I ever condone something like that ever

– for duck shooting – heh who was that dude who shot someone in the face guffaws now was that those pesky Republicans
Dick Cheney hunting incident https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Cheney_hunting_incident

Blymph that sites headlines really did make me laugh

Hillwilliam there are no such thing as unicorns - erm, wait isnt that one of the national symbols of Scotland guffaws

The unicorn is the national animal of Scotland. The Royal Coat of Arms of Scotland, used prior to 1603 by the Kings of Scotland was supported by two unicorns and the current royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom is supported by a unicorn for Scotland along with a lion for England. The unicorn is frequently found as an ornament on mercat crosses.

Musicmystery, name one, just one, president who in some way, shape or form, did not dishonor the office or title?

Herein lies the big problem with American politics.

Everyone that runs for office and is elected immediately starts with courting special interest groups, etc.

They have a dishonest news media that, for ratings, does not report the news, but twists the truth to the point it is no longer recognizable, to help them.

It does not matter what party they belong to, if they are conservative or liberal or moderate.

It is about two things, money and power.

The people became unimportant the day that CNN went on the air 24 hours a day broadcasting the news. The people became unimportant as when news anchors stopped reading the news off the teletype and had copy writers write the stories for them.

We live in a world of sound bites and lobbyists.

What is worse, is that the American people care enough to demand change. The majority of Americans feed into the bullshit like a pig to slop, and with the internet repost it with their own twist to the facts.

If an asteroid hit New York city tomorrow, liberals would find some way to blame Trump and the conservatives would blame Obama, both sides would ignore the simple fact that no one could have stopped the damn thing in the first place.

Politics is no longer about doing what is right for the country, but about placing blame and telling the American people who or what to be afraid of.

I suggest you watch the movie Canadian Bacon, not for its entertainment value, because that is lacking, but for the parallels it has with modern America.
