So Bosco, what do you think about a president who just signs things that he doesn't read or understand?
Is this someone that you consider worthy of everyone's respect?
Do you think this person should be in a position where his decisions will have an effect on the lives of millions of people?

You where there to quiz him on his understanding were you not.
What stupid POS article will you come up with next?

Seriously-- a virtual neo-nazi has promoted himself to the security council by exploiting the laziness and stupidity of a man who was just elected president.

These are the times we are living in.

May the GOP who see it awaken their brethren and put an end to this train wreck.

May you alt left idiots finally figure out that the majority sees right through your constant New York Times fake news stories...

You constantly scream "Nazi" this and "Nazi' that. George Bush was a "Nazi"

Anyone you disagree with is a "Nazi" as your paid Soros Brownshirts pummel citizens for going to speeches or attending an inauguration

You are caricatures of buffoons.

The majority didn't vote for him Comrade Liar.

How did he trick him?

He didn't know he was giving Bannon so much power on the security council... possibly didn't realize he was even putting Bannon on the security council. I can only assume that Bannon himself gave him the order... I really can't imagine the rest of that freakshow thinking it was a good idea.

So basically, Trump didn't read it, didn't care what it was about, signed it, and now Bannon has an unprecedented role as the first ever non-military, political advisor to a board of military experts that advise the president on the nation’s security.

You can read about Bannon here:

http://time.com/4657665/steve-bannon-donald-trump/

He's a scary mofo.

When was Susan Rice in the military?

Hillary Clinton?

All the White House Chief of Staffs have been military?

You are clueless about the make-up if the NSC.

Why do you limit it to the NSC?

Oh you really got me with that one.
And I guess zoologists can't be animal experts because they've never been animals.

The point was that Bannon is a political advisor, not a military advisor or military expert of any kind... NOT that there has never been non-military on the NSC.

You are clueless about English.

Not really a Moron. In high management positions, you expect your personal assistant to go through all your things, and then brief you on the most important things you need to know. You probably gotta sign alot of stuffs. And you just routinely sign them but you have a trusted person to vet through them on the important things to highlight to you.

It's normal. Like before a meeting also, your personal assistance will compile you a file on important things you need to know before the meeting.

So yea, he has to blast the person who is suppose to highlight to him important details about documents he is signing IF they failed to do a proper job.

Especially someone running the country. I don't think they have the time to read every fine print. I do not expect them to. They need to have trusted people to do all that for him and highlight to him anything of concern.

Anyone who just signs anything without actually reading it is either a moron or an idiot.

Especially if it involves the possibility of getting people killed.

Not to mention this man once claimed to "read everything that came across his desk that required his signature."

Not that you have ever been capable of putting together a coherent point, but all of these little attacks reek of desperation.

Eventually you will be forced to admit that the person you've helped to elect is a complete idiot.

Oh right the New York Times is fake news.
Better check Breitbart... they'll definitely be honest about this.

At the very least, stop pretending I'm just making this stuff up as opposed to posting links to articles from reputable sources. Just because you don't want to hear it doesn't mean it isn't credible.

If you don't realize that the military is just the tool of politics ... well, i don't know what to tell you.

heavyblinker -> RE: Trump signed an order he didn't read, wasn't briefed on (2/6/2017 8:00:59 PM)

Oh god it just never ends.

Now he is on the verge of being blocked from speaking at the UK house of commons by none other than the Speaker himself.

http://www.businessinsider.com/john-bercow-cancels-donald-trump-parliament-visit-2017-2

And the applause you hear in the video is highly unusual...

quote:

Bercow's speech was met with a round of applause from MPs in the Commons, which in usual circumstances is banned practice. Veteran Labour MP Dennis Skinner stood up to say "well done" to the House speaker.

Opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn tweeted shortly after the speech: "Well said John Bercow. We must stand up for our country's values. Trump's State Visit should not go ahead."

Corbyn's Labour colleague Harriet Harman tweeted saying it was a "proud moment" for the House of Commons. In a statement, Liberal Democrat party leader leader Tim Farron said: "Trump should be under no illusion. We are snubbing him."

I didn't even want to start a thread because there are already too many. The deluge of bullshit this piece of shit has brought upon himself is absolutely overwhelming and so many things that would normally be massive controversies for any other politician are just business as usual for Trump. So many people want him impeached, or otherwise prevented from being president much longer.

When will something be done about this disaster, exactly?

Alot of people in high positions seriously don't read everything. Business people.

Maybe lawyers will, because their profession is all about finding loopholes of legalities. And they gotta know the law detailedly to win cases.

But businessmen. They always get people to do that stuffs for them. And their success is usually reliant on hiring the right people they can trust to watch out for them and tell them what they need to know.

Different style.

Relax! It's just 4 years! And Trump is chill with Theresa May. Everybody in the Parliament does not have to like him as it's obviously made up of different MPs holding different political opinions.

This trainwreck will end if and when he commits an act that is an impeachable offense, and congress calls him on it.

Until then, it is a train ride with the high probability of ending in a train wreck.

I'm pretty sure that she just tolerates him for the sake of appearances and international harmony.

Or to wind up those members of her Cabinet (most notably Boris Johnson) and the opposition who can't stand the sorry little shit. I'd suspect that's probably as big a factor as diplomacy at this stage.

He was in violation from the moment he took office. That's not the question.

This train wreck will end if and when the GOP Congress finds a conscience and a spine and impeaches him.

That is a matter of opinion.

When you consider the history of executive orders from Washington to the present, those proven unconstitutional were struck down by the supreme court, those that werent stood.

Issuing an executive order is, even when unconstitutional, not a criminal act, unless it directs members of the government to commit acts which are considered criminal by either the UCMJ or the United States Criminal code.

Even then, the president cannot be arrested with out being impeached first, unless it is a criminal act such as murder or some other similar act, and even then it would take congress to order the arrest.

If you do not believe me, research it yourself. President Nixon had clearly committed a number of criminal acts, either actively or as part of the conspiracy to cover up the initial act. The evidence was clear, however as a sitting President, he could not be arrested.

As soon as he resigned, he was no longer protected by the law, which is why there was an immediate pardon issued by President Ford.

It sucks, but the executive branch was given that immunity to prevent a coup by those who disagreed with a sitting president and would or could have tried to use false charges to end his term.

Musicmystery -> RE: Trump signed an order he didn't read, wasn't briefed on (2/7/2017 6:14:22 AM)

Whatever. Whether we wait for the next one or the first one, it's not the offense, but Congress that's the sticking point.

There's photos of him using Cross rollerballs fitted with a felt tip refill.
Presumably his staff don't trust him with a rollerball or a biro in case he puts his eye out...
