I wonder if Trump's media-bashing stems less from stupidity than strategy. He seems to like his electorates uninformed.

I suspect that's a result of his real beef with news outlets--not "fake news" but actual coverage of him and his administration.

I can't say that I pay much attention to things Trump says, but according to the reporting that I read at the time, Trump conveyed his condolences to the Prime Minister and the Canadian people, and offered any assistance that the U.S. might be able to provide.

She's just "misspoken" about the Bowling Green "massacre" twice to the press now. But I'm sure it's not a deliberate attempt to gin up hysteria among America's Least Cognitively Equipped. I often randomly insert "massacre" into my sentences. Common speech impediment. Yeah, that.

He called Trudeau, he didnt tweet a thing...and hasnt mentioned it since, but is still blaming seven countries( with zero terrorist, so far) for his alternative fact ban.
IF there arent terrorist attacks after this, I will be very surprised.
Of either jihadists or from funny mentalists of either side of the aisle.
