not personally, but heard from one who was that it's an awesome experience

7 or 8 times. It is another reality--hmm a way to think of being in a D/s relationship too or being a slave. i gave up trying to explain it to people and would just show them pics. It WAS however, intended as an enlightenment experience that by BM being just SO different we're out of our habitual mind patterns (illusion) and become present, or Now, or as Zen would say, disidentified.

It's also way cool. There typically are a few theme camps devoted to BDSM. i took a Shibari class last time i was there.
