It's really interesting to read headlines these days. And how the media is obsess with every silly little thing about Trump, and the way they word things.

It's either deliberately sensationalising some issue in a way that they would have never done with any other Presidents.

OR it's patronising tone.

Today, one of the headlines I saw is, "Trump Hugs Japan after easing US-China Tensions". It's by Associated Press.

It's like, reporting as IF, it's like a child venturing into a new world, and just, like "oooh ahhhh" his every step. Almost like parents watching their baby grow.

Like would the media ever say, "Obama hugs Cuba" or something. Like never!

And earlier today, I read another article that "Oooh Trump sign another 3 executive orders!" Like is it a big deal? And then followed by, "These orders are typical of Republican Presidents, nothing exciting." So why the fuck even report it?

They don't obsess over Obama's executive orders and Obama has apparently signed ALOT too.

I don't know why the media would ever want to belittle Trump.
It's not like he has said anything about them.

The media is having to learn how to deal with a petulant child being president. They have never had anyone in that office who did this much absolutely stupid shit in such a short time, so give them a break.

It’s not like he slagged them off on his twit account and then declared they had it in for him.
it’s not like he spews alternative facts completely lying fukery to his people
Cant be him boasting about his pussy grabbing claws of wretch, as the dim bitches are asking for it.
Cant be his tax returns
Not like he’s actually building walls, metaphorical or otherwise
Not like he screams security, and savages from the dark realms are coming, and precedes to back that up with 0 deaths since 1975 from those seven countries
Can’t be his conflicts of interests and mysterious, shady business interests he refuses to divulge
Can’t be that he said he would refuse to accept the election results many times over or that the elections were completely rigged.
Can’t be that he believes the 3 million trouncing he got from Hillary – didn’t happen and that he won the popular vote.
Can’t be he pleaded the 5th on 97 occasions over 5 hearings with his last bint
etc
etc……

Dunno dim bitch I am equally perplexed – perhaps you have some ideas and can get back to me with them when you are less mental in the head

And has never happened with any previous President, of course.

I just saw a headline, the author was upset because she couldn't trace the supply chain for Ivanka's products. Presumably so they could try to destroy her that way too

Yeah, they are just as bad as the alt left wackos here

Yeah, except that's just a stupid meme whereas Trump is being opposed by pretty much anyone who isn't fascist, stupid or working for him.

To be fair, the public has developed a serious appetite for Trump-related drama. Not that there's been a shortage of it lately, but I've noticed that the days when he doesn't do something that fills sane people with fear, humiliation or disgust it's essential that the media have at least one new Trump story on hand.

It is pretty worrying because Trump is legitimately dangerous and the MS media could easily burn people out or undermine their own credibility if they give into this need to sell nothing but Trump stories to the public.

Meme, narrative... For eight years little baby Barack blamed Bush for every problem in the world, and all of you brownshirt alt left radicals joined in the chorus

On November 8th that all changed, and everything instantly became Trump's fault

ManiacalMysery even posted a thread about the rising Chinese threat, blaming Trump for that - before Trump was even sworn in

You fucking communal loons have lost your fucking communal minds

That's how Putin's approach to propaganda and controlling the Russian media has worked for the last decade or so, by a curious coincidence: throwing so much shit at the wall that nobody can face sifting through it to find the stuff that matters.

I doubt you even remember what shape the US was in circa 2008.

The South China sea thing/China relations haven't been great, but Trump's rhetoric and incompetence has done a lot to make it worse.

Of course, you're a lost cause so there is absolutely no point in actually discussing reality with you.

And this is what is so frightening. I am 54 years old and have voted every election since I turned 18. I have voted for Republicans and Democrats, winners and losers. I have such a sense of doom regarding this man, I cannot ignore it. The voices in my head about people have always served me well and been correct. Let him prove me wrong for the first time in 31 years (I ignored the voices once in 78...it didn't end well for me) and I will apologize for every bad feeling I am having. But until he does SOMETHING, ANYTHING, that show me he is capable of acting like something other than a petulant child, I am gonna stick with my we are screwed feeling.

Who did you vote for in '78 against your instincts? I'm assuming that'd be a congressman or senator?

Wasn't a vote, I was only 16...was hitchhiking and got in a car with a dude that gave me the creeps.

Got you, just a generally bad decision, not a vote. Thanks.
