Due to female favoritism and privilege, hardly anyone listens to men when they want equality for men.

RM's latest hero/love interest is a Phillip Davies MP, aka "the most rebellious Conservative MP in Parliament".

Among other things, this pathetic grub's parliamentary highlights include responsibility for single-handedly preventing the passage of bills that sought to:
*"prevent landlords from evicting tenants for requesting vital repairs";
*"give free hospital parking to carers"; and
*"provide first-aid training to children" (how could anyone oppose providing first aid training to children?);
a really caring warm and fuzzy type he certainly ain't.

His levels of honesty and integrity appear no higher than a snake's belly. He has a close (widely believed to be corrupt) and controversial association with the gambling industry, "In 2012, Davies was found to have accepted gifts from bookmaking companies whilst at the same time calling for them to be given tax concessions by the Government."

There's a lot more info (if more is needed to demonstrate what a repulsive lowlife he is) at Mr Davies'wiki page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Davies from which I have copied the above quotes.

His reason for opposing legislation against honour killings is that the legislation only dealt with honour killings against women. Is anyone aware of cases of honour killings carried out on men?

No one should be surprised that an appalling lowlife slug like Davies earns RM's approval. The two of them appear to be as close as peas in a pod.

I have no expectations of anything intelligent ever being posted by that moron. But I find research interesting and it's always revealing to discover the true nature of people others find worthy of quoting. RM's choices of people he holds up as either heroes of the Right/anti-feminism etc or victims of leftists/feminists/anti-racists are especially revealing. Invariably they turn out to be disgusting slugs like this particular piece of vermin.

How could anyone expect others to respect a person who opposes first aid training for children? That RM apparently does illustrates the poverty of his (non-existent) critical faculties, of how desperate he is to find others who hold the same appalling views as he does, and how much he is prepared to overlook in others if they share his bigotries.

Here's a fuller account of Davies being heckled for taking a stand against misandry in Parliament. That rm is bigging up somebody who spends most of his time in the commons blocking legislation intended to prevent domestic violence against women shouldn't come as a surprise, really.
(Also bear in mind that Davies is lying like Nixon about Ghani's bill not including provisions to protect men from violence and honour crimes.)

Wow tweak, here you are calling me the moron. So you aren't aware at all that males can be victims of honor killings too? Google is your friend.

Using tweaks type of logic, as the majority of workplace deaths are male, that equals to female workplace deaths not existing at all and therefore we should have no consideration towards it.

You've yet to explain why somebody getting shouted down for trying to heckle a member's bill intended to stop honour killings of members of either sex from being so described in Government literature* is making a stand against institutional misandry (the Houses of Parliament is not the first establishment most would go to looking for victims of the feminazi conspiracy, put it that way), rather than acting like an attention seeking wanker with a chip on his shoulder about women's right.

*(It'd be nice if they did that with "ISIS" as well: call the fuckers daesh like every bastard else outside of the 'States does.)

Go find some legit quotes where men have been subject to honour killings instead of a broad brush generalisation.

Look you gynocentric fuckwit in denial

https://www.wlv.ac.uk/media/wlv/pdf/LOKK-conference-17.11.11x.pdf

This is just a quick example.

Jesus fucking christ, do you people actually care about males at all? Like, see males as human beings too that deserve consideration?

Why are you lot such a bunch of female favouring fucking idiots? Why does western societies hold very heavy favourtism towards women and yet people are idiotic enough to keep claiming that women are the second class citizens. Fucking laughable

With every type of human suffering, western society always places women/girls first. Yet a male is deemed in the wrong for having a problem with that.

Things are really fucking screwed up. We need to get past this female favourtism and start treating ALL genders as equals.

Look you female favouring wanker, the bill has nothing to do with equality, it's all about catering for females while leaving males totally out of the picture. That's not equality, that's favourtism. Males are victims too, they are human beings too, they deserve consideration and support too.

Whatever females are entitled too, so should males. That's equality. If one gender is entitled to something while the other is not, how the flying fuck is that equality? It's not, it's totally not, it's a billion miles away from equality.

To be fair, though, (the heavily-built) Nicholas Soames was the victim of the most cutting barb I've ever heard from a woman against a male MP: "Sex with Nicholas was like having a very large wardrobe with a very small key falling on top of you."

No, the bill is to stop Government literature using the term "honour killing" to describe a bunch of savages murdering women and their their boyfriends. The bill's sponsor specifically mentioned male victims of these crimes in her address to the commons. Davies, as is his wont, ignored the facts in order to spin the bill as being an attempt to sacrifice men's rights to women's, which is his MO whenever he opens his trap in parliament.
Davies does not feel that women should be entitled to whatever men are, and has a long history of trying to derail member's bills aimed at dealing with domestic violence. If anybody in this fiasco is opposed to gender equality, it's Davies. It certainly isn't Nusrat Ghani, whose introduction to her bill seems to have passed you by:
quote:

Language matters. The use of the term ‘honour’ to describe a violent criminal act committed against a man, but more often a woman, can only be explained as a means of self-justification for the perpetrator. It diminishes the victim and provides a convenient excuse for what in our society we should more accurately call simply: murder, rape, abuse or enslavement.
