Patience, Grasshopper. Wait until this thing fully unfolds. The alt left are firing all of their cannons at once, showing all of their cards, yet we are early into this presidency - and no one ever remembers the first few months, come the next election cycle.

The leaks will be stopped (hopefully prosecuted), and the president will get his Supreme Court and start getting the lay of the land.

Then watch out.

I am more upset about the left hijacking yet another perfectly good word.

In French (I'm sure it comes, originally from Latin) "en retard" means: "Late". Used in a full sentence: "Je (I) suis (am) en retard (Late)"

It also came to mean "slow". How many of the older folks here, when working on a car in their yard had to "retard" an distributor cap in order to set the timing on their car?

Because the word came to mean "slow", it was considered appropriate to use it to describe people with mental issues such as (I'm pretty sure this is still the medical term) retardation or Down's Syndrome.

It's just another word the self-appointed purveyors of what's right and wrong ... you know ... the ones that have nothing better to do than to be offended for other people ... have decided to take a stand on.

And don't get me started on "oriental" which is a completely appropriate word to describe someone from Asia.

The takeaway of the current political horror show (Not that we needed the latest, with the incompetent Dems and the bought-and-paid-for Repubs here to stay): There ARE consequences to much of the American consumer audience spending time and rewarding producers and advertisers by loyalty (or morbid fascination) watching scripted bad behaving fellow humans by Preference much of most evenings. Of all the toxic influences in modern life, from industrial process pollutants, industrial agricultural chemicals, to hormone mimetic plastic food packaging and kitchen ware, "Reality TV" polluting our collective consciousness and it's created personalities entering general social acceptance, may end up the most dangerous. And we haven't even started to comprehend the damage to a responsible social fabric of a generation of Trump behavior copycats attempting to ride his coattails such as our few familiar Alt-Right apologists/talking-point-heads in this thread exemplify.

Why did you omit this?

Dana Rohrabacher’s office to hand deliver a Valentine’s Day card, they were met with a shut and locked door,” Indivisible said in a lengthy statement accompanied by pictures of the incident. “Rep. Rohrabacher’s disdain for visiting constituents led to Lola sliding her card under his door, which led to a staffer accidentally opening the door on Lola’s head and the following so-called ‘tussle.’”

The photos show the two-year old slipping the valentine under the locked door and also the staffer pushing the door open.
