ORIGINAL: dcnovice The Trump campaign's "Mainstream Media Accountability Survey" offers a fascinating glimpse into the victim mentality of the 45th president. https://action.trump2016.com/trump-mms-survey/ The victim is you, dcnovice. What if I proved to you that the media is pushing utterly false narratives, twisting reality and doing things like editing video in order to cast President Trump as (for example) a hateful racist Is it wrong for him to object, and work to correct the record? Example: Top Yahoo! "News" Headline this morning, from the AP: Trump exchange with black journalist sparks outrage Top comment under the article - 1038 thumbs up, 91 thumbs down: quote:
This is absurd. I watched the press conference twice, saw the exchange between Trump and Ryan and thought nothing of it. When I read this dramatic, racially-loaded headline I had no idea what it could possibly be. The president seemed genuinely interested in answering her questions fully and meeting with the CBC And somehow, some DNC operative with a byline finds a way to make it about race. Have you not noticed that the right is ignoring the drama, the protests and the campaign of divisive hatred from the left? While democrats waste their time organizing chaos like petulant children, President Trump is doing great things. Barrack Obama's monumental mess will be fixed and sooner than you think. I searched Google for video of the exchange but all of the top Google results were edited so that the part of the exchange that casts president Trump in a favorable light is left out. This edited video, from a CBS story is used in all of the top Google results, including a Politico story and a few others. Again, CBS snipped off the part of the exchange that was most convenient for the media's false narrative that 'TRUMP IS A MEAN SPIRITED RACST AND HE BEAT UP ON A BLACK REPORTER!!!" Here is the full video of the press conference. The exchange with the "black reporter" April Ryan begins at about 110:20, very near the end of the news conference. The part that Google and CBS are presenting, their edited video, casts the exchange in a very different light than the full exchange proved to be. And they do this every day, a lot See, the president, is trying to help you, DC. Your "liberal" "friends" in the media, want you to remain uneducated, ignorant, and filled with hate and rage for half of the country for no good reason (identity politics) and he is trying to pull you out of that in order to unite the country on common ground for the common good
