It's the "gnostic knowledge" approach. You have to remember, Peon grew up in a class-based society and ruminations upon class dominate his thinking. The irony, of course, is that he promotes himself as a member of the bourgeois who looks down upon the proles, which is a rather interesting view for a socialist to take. He's a typical example of someone who advocates for socialism but then wants to remind everyone that "some animals deserve more than others".

Socialists always struck me as naive. His little screed has done nothing to disabuse me of that notion, although it did highlight his hypocrisy.

Milo is exceptionally right-wing politically, but this is leavened with the cultural libertarian thing. Milo trolls a lot. And some of his opinions are definitely not considered. However where he does find a broad base of support is in the wholesale rejection of Leftist censorship. The Left believes in censorship, BIG TIME and that's an issue which is simply not going to go away. It is one of the issues which led to the election of Trump. And until the Left stops its nonsensical desire for social control, they will continue to lose. Europe has had enough of them, the UK has had enough of them and so has the US. Autocratic Leftist desires to control language are as Orwellian as the surveillance state.

Imagine, if you will, for just a moment, the idea of the Left using the NSA to monitor and police people's speech in everyday life. Because that is the future which people like myself refuse to allow.

French socialism caused a rapid exit of capital from France and led to the European Union - an group which is comprehensively fucked. Norway is financed by North Sea oil, Cuba was propped up by Soviet dollars for decades and is now shifting to a market economy and Denmark is a fucking democracy you retarded gimp.

Actually, tweak pointed out the burden of proof was on the person making the claim, and the person making the claim responded with ad hominem incorrectly pointing out as fallacies the correct point about burden of proof.

Now, from there, he could have erroneously appealed to authority himself, a fallacy. But he added a persuasive explanation, another form of pseudo-reasoning, to spin an interpretation beyond what tweak suggested (doubting he'd find his authority).

His claim remains without proof.

I have always had mixed feelings on the Patriot Act. I am wary of the surveillance state and an all-powerful federal government, but for the sake of survival or for security, whatever you want to call it, there have to be some compromises. The constitution was never meant to be a suicide pact and all of that. The provisions were supposed to sunset but not all of them did and after eight years of Obama I believe that the surveillance state on steroids has arrived, and the Flynn thing really underscored that. The alt left, or the shadow government has the presidents private / secret phone conversations with other world leaders monitored and uses them for political attacks, that isn't supposed to happen. Obama aggressively pursued leakers but now he is apparently facilitating them. Or at the very least, his people are.

And when you remember how the left pretended to be against a surveillance state, calling Bush Hitler, screaming hysterical accusations about Cheney... Now it literally means nothing to them. To me, the left cannot be trusted because of this sort of thing, they never really believe in anything for the sake of principle, it all depends on who is affected and how. If they feel they benefit, anything goes - literally. That includes the way alt left radicals have been assaulting people at Milo events and at other Republican venues. Quite openly talking about assassination now, many of them... With Obama, we were accused of that without any evidence and it was the worst thing imaginable. Before the election, Trump had to say he would accept the results or it meant the end of democracy. That was only when Trump was declared a loser by everyone in the media though - when the real polling results came in why, it was unconscionable to respect election results
