And infant mortality, I won't look this up for you again but the fact is we count a lot more things than other countries, like miscarriages etc that others don't. There is no miss-leading... the life expectancy figures can be verified by many sources. It is fact that every industrial country with universal health care now has a longer life expectancy then the US. Butch

I'm blaming the Republican Congress Bama... they have fought and blocked universal healthcare ...and yes Trump too because he, along with the Republican Congress, are continuing this inhumane stupidity. How can anyone argue against the facts... our ridiculous healthcare system is not providing humane healthcare for those that need it. Obamacare was a poor substitute compared to healthcare the rest of the western world enjoys....and now it will be gutted as well. Our children will not live a full long life compared to other countries because you do not want to provide for them or help those less fortunate. Butch

I usually am in sync with your positions, MR, but on this the blame lies with Bill Clinton and his pal, Treasury Secretary Rubin, who revoked Glass Steagall and loosened regulations on bank capitalization.
