Wow! So much to deal with, here. First, how condescending does this paragraph sound:

No, I don't keep trying to convince people science is real. I look at that and see people who argue with scientists and academics arrogantly and think, you are the heirs of Rush Limbaugh. That level of denial is not worth trying to fix.

? Not even worth the effort to try to save them? I wonder ... Are Syrian refugees "worth the effort of trying to 'fix'?" So ... where do you draw your line? is it just people who oppose your viewpoint or is it all people that need help?

Well, it is amazing how leftists are soooo in love with science until you ask a scientist (hard sciences; not the "soft" ones): "How many genders are there?" or, if you ask those proponents of the "overwhelming, 97% of scientists ..." where the list of all the climate scientists resides.

There isn't a preponderance of evidence that Muslims are all evil. There are no connection between these events. So posting them is an attempt to paint a negative impression of Muslims based on the actions of a few. That is Islamophobia. If I posted with the same kind of vigor about the awful things alleged Christians do, it would only serve to condemn Christianity, and would be manipulation on my part.

Preponderance of evidence? I have read the entire Qur'on (back in the 90s, before the rise of Al Qaeda/DAESH) and I have read it quite a few times, since then. While the Judeo-Christian Bible is full of explanations about why certain groups of people had to be killed (as an after-thought), the Qur'on extolls the virtues of killing the non-virtuous as an on-going endeavor and an easy ticket to "Heaven".

Would you say that anyone that reads "Mein Kampf" on a daily basis and idolizes Adolph Hitler might be a danger (especially a group of those someones)? I would. So, the Jihadis that read their blood-stained book are a danger, also.

You'll notice, please, that I use "Islamic jihadists" or "Jihadis". I have NEVER claimed that all Muslims are evil, but all those that are forced to "study" in Madrasses and are force-fed a literal interpretation of the Qur'on ARE a serious threat to the Western way of life (which includes that pluralism that leftists claim to champion).

People on the right are not of one voice. There are many different levels of conservatism. Unfortunately, there's been years of abandoning the value of truth, to the point that people have been telling themselves war is peace, ignorance is strength, and freedom is slavery. It was a natural situation for Trump and his allies to exploit. So there's a large number of conservatives who now argue against the color of the sky for their own needs. However, as seen with the waving of the Russian Trump flags, the right is not a total consensus right now.

... and thank God for that. I am not and have never been a conservative or a supporter of President Trump. I am glad that there are "different levels of conservatism". I will give you a little glimpse into my mind: the most relevant thing I've heard in the last six months is a little video that can be found on PragerU.com by a gentleman of whom I am a fan, Dave Rubin. The video is called: "Why I Left the Left".

In case you don't know, Dave started out as part of "The Young Turds" and couldn't follow where Cenk was heading.

The phrase that Mr. Rubin has been using a lot, lately is: "I realized that defending my Liberal values has become a conservative position."

Another interesting take would be a youtube "series" called: "Leaving The Left", particularly the story that Penn Gillette tells.

I pointed out that Breitbart and Jihad Watch are both considered to be a bad source of news from Wikipedia.org, where they have a legal right to challenge any libelous assertion.
It's extremely hard to successfully sue for libel in the USA, especially given the protection provided by the Communications Decency Act. Essentially, Wikipedia itself pretty much cannot be sued as the CDA insulates Wikipedia from litigation and the 1st amendment caps it off.

In short, your claim that Breitbart can effectively sue Wikipedia for a biased entry has been fact-checked and found false. You are a liar and a hypocrite.

Next!

Yes... looking back at it... you're right. (No pun intended. ;)

I just did a simple search to discover all the times Wikipedia had been sued, successfully or unsuccessfully, and got results, oddly. As well, Fox News has a disclaimer on their page that says they disagree with Wikipedia's assessment.
There's a reason for that, of course.

That took seconds. You apparently didn't have seconds, but lied about searching, and then called me a liar.

Huh. Awareness, you are a dirty, dirty liar.

And if you'd actually read any of that, you'd see that they prevailed in all cases related to content.

You are an idiot as well as a liar. And smacking your idiocy down is like shooting fish in a fucking barrel.

Any lone Muslim can self-radicalize simply by reading that book, and that frequently happens. Entire groups spring up based on the more nefarious teachings all of the time, all around the globe.

No, not all Muslims are bad but how do you know which ones truly disavow that book.

Look at it this way, if you were to stroll through pre-war Nazi Germany, I am sure you would meet many warm, wonderful Nazi people. "See? They don't mean any harm, they are people just like we are!"

They'd still be Nazis.

mnottertail -> RE: Lets Talk about where Donald Trump gets his information (2/25/2017 7:24:26 AM)

Donald Trump gets his information from Nazis. Got it. Why are you leaving out Russia and pedophiles though?

So what you're saying is, some organizations DID legally challenge Wikipedia after all (what you lied about) and yet didn't win-- i.e., confirmed in court that Wikipedia did not libel those organizations.

Oh you poor moron.
