Greta, intelligence services have been finding new poisons for decades.

a good example is Georgi Iva5 Ridiculous Assassination Plots That Actually Workednov Markov then there is the radiation poisoning of a communist defector.

Concentrated venoms of all kinds have been used down through the ages, and of course you can do a simple extraction of nicotine from tobacco with little trouble and dope some one's cigar or cigarette and kill them that way.

The most unique poisons used today are actually plant and insect/animal venom that has been concentrated or manipulated in some fashion which often either shows up as just what it is and thus written off as an 'accident' or breaks down so fast in the blood that it is gone by the time the person dies, or shortly after.

Then there are compounds found in every day foods that, in the proper amounts, are deadly.

So this murder is no real big surprise, and the substance probably cannot be weaponized to be used over a large number of people at once, which makes it the perfect assassination tool.

Hell there are some cactus plants locally that have a toxin on the spines that cause irritation but if you are stupid enough to roll around in the damn things, can conceivably kill a person.

I don’t have to look this up on wiki - population 24.9 million >24.8 million live in abject mysery and fear, eeking away on a nice bowl of grass and rubble - hell south Korea could do it alone ...and fuk china fuking enablers - yes I get they side with the UN-evil west....and are now knocking back the north Korean coal imports...like any of you fukwits even knew that.....Creature I would torture for the rest of its life in ways that would make the most despicable of all you hurl up.

But fucking Hell!!!! This shit is fatal! First of all, completely undetectable at airports. They can just put it in a pen. As less only 0.01ml of it landing on your skin is needed to kill someone!

This biological weapon is fucking dangerous! And seriously, North Korea is getting away with anything! How can they happily go assassinate their own citizen in a foreign country in broad daylight, in the middle of a busy airport!

And it's like, there are no consequences for them at all!!

All we "know " about n.korea is from the news media...dumb don and the deplorables have assured us that the media is "fake news".

NK's only friend in the area, China, is pissed off, and they have quit buying coal from NK which is huge. That's all NK exports, and China is their protector.

At the time I posted. Malaysia ALREADY knew it was poison. They DID the toxicology test TWICE even! To double confirm! Then they made official request to North Korea to help identify the Poison! This was widely reported in my region in a very very public press conference. Which North Korea refused to help.

Now they finally identified the Poison by themselves.

So admit you were wrong. Thank you!

Greta, I really hate to break the news to you, but countries have been happily assassinating their own citizens for decades, even centuries. It is not new, nor is it completely unexpected.

The infamous 'umbrella' gun was used against a defector in London some years ago.
A communist defector was poisoned by a radioactive material
Obama ordered a drone strike against an American citizen in Yemen
Even long before technology made it easy, countries have been doing this stuff.

So, my question is, why the hell are you surprised?

As for the poison in question, it is one of thousands, although some of the more tech savvy intelligence services would probably use one that would cause heart failure, stroke or something that looks a bit more like natural causes.

As for why the US is not 'all over this.' seriously? What the fuck do you want the US to do? Go to war over North Korea killing one of its own people? We haven't gone to war over the fact they have been putting their own people in work camps and working them to death in the decades since the Korean War.

A cursory google shows that in the period leading up to china's ban on coal importation there was a huge increase in purchases...I think the official term is "stockpiling". That would seem to allow china to play "tough guy" at no expense to either them or their client n.korea.

That's all NK exports, and China is their protector.

According to the "fake news" put out by the cia n.korea also exports missles,military hardware,nuclear reactors (the one the isralies bombed in syria came from n.korea) and the best counterfeit $100 dollar bills the amerikan treasury dept has ever encountered.
