Yes Serena Williams would be considered "obese" by Asian standards.
We don't care about body fat percentage. We only care if the woman looks stick thin. And someone like her can never achieve stick thin status EVEN with 0% fat. So my whole point is. Everybody's body shape is different. And there are some William like Serena Williams who can never physically look skinny ever no matter how hard she tries.

Looking skinny isn't about body percentage fat. As there are many skinny fat people. Especially most Asian women, with very tiny bone structure, they can pile up alot of fat before they even look normal sized. But Skinny fat is fine. As long as physically, visually, it looks skinny. Because when people judge you for obesity. They aren't gonna judge you by your body percentage fat content. They will just judge you base on the visual they see.

PS: Incase other people who haven't been following the train of argument between me and Thompson. THIS is not about encouraging women to be skinny or saying skinny is the best. But if Serena Williams grew up in my country. She would be fat shamed constantly, despite 0% fat. And that's the point I was trying to make. That NOT ALL woman can help it. Not every woman can be skinny. It all depends on bone structure and body shape.
So perpertuating the lie that it is possible for any woman to not look "obese" or "overweight" is one big lie.

We had an article here featuring 10 women with about 10% body fat but look big. Because they were chunky built. They even put skinny women who are twice skinnier than them but twice as much fat in their body beside them, and they still look fatter than the women with much unhealthier body fat in their bodies. Yet all these women have suffered alot of fat shaming, despite being low fat content. While their skinny fat counterparts have never been fat shamed.

So I think people should stop perpetrating the lie that you can be skinny with just diet and exercise. It will never happen for Serena Williams and some other women shaped like her.

Because it will just make women sized like Serena feel bad about themselves that they can be 0% fat and still be told they are obese by the public.

IF people didn't know Serena was a top tennis player and was just an ordinary woman by the street. There will be alot of men who will find her sized too big for his taste.

In conclusion, my main point is. Diet and Exercise can only help you stay healthy and live longer. But if you aren't the right body structure. You can never be skinny. It is impossible! Serena Williams is proof.

If Serena is not obese then I am not obese. Because I consider myself obese because I am sized like Serena. Maybe even smaller.

But in Singapore. I am considered Obese and many men will consider Serena Obese.

But to me, she is fit and big woman who can never be slim. Like me.

Even Xena the warrior princess was considered obese over here.

And Beyonce is seen as a BBW in Singapore. Like if a local man says he likes BBW. He meant the biggest he can take is Beyonce size.

The fact that our BMI is stricter than US BMI levels tells you exactly our classification of obesity is INFACT officially different from the US.

And BMI is the standard scale to judge obesity and overweight levels by official country statistics in most countries.

Sometimes 'hate' is simply disagreement, even if it is extremely bitter disagreement. But saying that that is the problem presupposes that the other position is in fact rooted in rationality or carefully considered facts.

There are multiple issues where this simply is not the case.
More than anything, the election of Trump proves that to be true.

I agree that it would be nice to be able to reach them on some level and convince them that they are being lied to about, say, climate change... but good luck with that one.

I don't hate Islam. Parts of it i think are actually very nice. I honestly think if we stopped using the word hate... hate would disappear. Words are powerful.
