After decades of partisan coverage by media elitists; being told they don't have a right to privileged access to government officials has to be an unpalatable reality check. Trump being a clown or not besides; it is good to see someone reinforce the fact that a "White House Press Corps" is a privilege and custom granted at the convenience of the government and not some kind of entitlement.

They are no longer "the media" by their choice, they have chosen to become opposition political activists, and they are going to be treated as such.
