Right, Hillary won the popular vote, so that says that Americans wanted the GOP in office?

Personally, I think Americans are tired of the bullshit in American politics.

Hell, they would have probably elected Attila the Hun if he had been running.

WhoreMods -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 8:28:23 AM)

Atilla would probably have had less trouble finding a running mate than la boheme boy did as well...

You can never see past your nose. Republicans won the House and the Senate and the popular vote in enough states to win the presidency

If Republicans carry the states that President Trump won during the upcoming midterms they will have an unstoppable majority

Which is why we keep seeing Dem Senators from those states kiss Trump ass

How many States are GOP?

Who runs Congress?

The GOP were obstructionists, but during Obama's Presidency, they still won election after election, outside of the General Election.

How have Americans shown their disdain for Republican obstructionism?

Americans want Democrats to work with Trump
Yep, just like Americans wanted the Republicans to work with Obama, fat lot of good that did!
;-)

bounty44 -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 4:45:27 PM)

is that why they kept voting more and more of them into the house? and the governships too?

They won very big in the House in the 2010 election with all the phony scare about death panels and such in the ACA. The Elections for the House in 2012, 2014, and 2016 were a wash. Democrat votes have been too concentrated in the cities, therefore losing districts.

They lost seats in both the House and the Senate.

Maybe not so much.

MasterBrentC -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 6:04:55 PM)

You libs still don't get it. We had 50 seperate state elections and President Trump won about 75 or 80% of the states.

You lost. Get the #&*@ over it already.

Musicmystery -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 6:13:44 PM)

You don't get it. It's not about that.

By the way, you guys over Obama being elected and ready to work with him yet?

YOU are the ones STILL whining about Hilary. We moved on. Now we're dealing with Trump.

Try to keep up.

bounty44 -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 6:24:14 PM)

if you call this: [sm=runaway.gif][sm=runaway.gif][sm=runaway.gif][sm=runaway.gif] "dealing with trump" then by all means, you are indeed doing just that.

ive said it before, i'll say it now and I suspect it wont be the last time i'll say it---the overwhelming majority of the threads and many of the posts by you comrades here concerning trump are chicken little, boy who cried wolf, pie in the sky, grasping at straws, hysteria. its an utter embarrassment to reason.

and if anyone's bringing up Hillary, theres a good possibility its being done because of an apparent double standard on your (the collective you, no pun intended) part. so rather than bitching about "getting over Hillary," maybe take a look at the consistency of your principles.

Musicmystery -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 6:33:54 PM)

How's the hearing on Garland's nomination coming along?

This quote is deceptive. What it actually says is that only 27 per cent think that Democrats should behave in exactly the same obstructionist fashion in which the Republicans did from the 2010 mid-terms onwards.

Presenting the two alternatives as "obstructionist" and "whole-hearted support" is deceptive. The two alternatives are "obstructionist" and "not obstructionist".

Regardless, this is irrelevant. America also hated the Republicans' obstructionism, massively disagreed with it and the Republicans did it anyway. Whatever point you think you're making is buried under the hypocrisy of the Republicans' efforts over the past six years.

quote:

You are sadly confused

It is heartening to know that you care about sad people.
quote:

The electorate empowered the Republicans more and more as they worked through the proper channels to slow Obama's radical agenda

It is good to know that the Republicans worked through proper channels like maga-millions to politicians an lobbying firms and industry groups and ALEC, and bribes and blatant obstructionism in state/local political process for purpose to promote their sane, sensible and entirely non-radical destruction of the the financial system and the national economy and the environment and international relations and conspicuous increase of terrorism everywhere.
quote:

As a result he left has now been disemboweled

Damn, I thought that went away with Henry VIII. Good job to the Republicans for not letting go of the past on that one.
quote:

It is like you enjoy being 180 degrees out of phase with reality

As a former sound guy, 180 degrees out of phase is the stupid way of saying reversed polarity. But I understand that guys who invent electronics are not as smart as guys who invent politics, so just shut my mouth.

BoscoX -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 6:39:29 PM)

An appalling, mind-boggling double standard

And not just with Hillary

quote:

HYPOCRISY: 7X More Coverage for Sessions Debacle than Holder Contempt

ManiacalMysery just wants control, like all alt left totalitarians demand

"You cannot bring up Hillary [sm=annoyed_smiley.gif]"

He keeps pulling that fascist streak of his out and laying it down on the table

mnottertail -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 7:11:55 PM)

Nutsucker Hypocrisy 800000000000000000000000000000000X more coverage of Hillary's actual innocence than nutsucker-commies in the white house.

Edwird -> RE: Americans want Democrats to work with Trump (3/3/2017 7:17:23 PM)

HRC being aligned with big business just a smidgen too much was deserving of criticism and accusations of hypocrisy from acolytes of the party that promotes absolute control of the country by the private sector.

That is the wack-jobs' version of honesty and integrity as regards democracy. The party of successful multi-"trophy wife"-marriage supporters.

Apparently, the only way to avoid being a hypocrite is to yell 'Hellfire!' upon waking and before going to sleep, and living up to it every point in between.
