"The idea that Obama’s administration authorized — and was able to get approval for — the wiretapping of the opposition party’s candidate for president is, frankly, far-fetched. And, if someone is making that claim — as Trump is now doing — the burden of proof is on them. If you are going to say there is a grand conspiracy that only you and a handful of others see, you need to offer a step-by-step explanation to the broader public to show why you’re right.

"It seems unlikely — given Trump’s past pattern of making baseless claims without proof and then simply insisting he is right and no evidence is needed to prove the point — that any meaningful effort will be made by the Trump administration to connect the dots on this alleged wiretapping conspiracy."

FBI ‘Granted FISA Warrant’ Covering Trump Camp’s Ties To Russia

November 7, 2016

Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia.

You know, it seems altogether likely that they obtained it legally after having established probable cause.
It's not like that piece of shit isn't working for Putin.

Of course, it wouldn't have been Obama who signed off on it.

Who do you suppose signed off on the running guns to Mexican drug lords idea, some low level flunky?

Who signed off on having the IRS attack TEA Party groups?

It was Obama.

Nope, not taking the bait.

Trump is a fucking disgrace in every conceivable way, and if he avoids jail time it will be a miracle.
And yes, I am aware that the polls said he wasn't going to win the election.

The difference here is that while people can be manipulated, reality can't.

Musicmystery -> RE: FFS (3/4/2017 10:46:12 AM)

LOL!

Every time he can't muster a defense of Trump, he comes up with some bizarre topic jump.

Yeah, Trump's path is looking dark no matter what's true at this point. If he was clean, he's certainly made a mess since then.

It could save a lot of typing simply to use "But Obama . . ." as his signature. [:)]

He was never clean, but I'm pretty sure the Russian thing started after he hit hard times due to his own incompetence and was forced to turn to Russian oligarchs, mafia figures and money laundering schemes to bail himself out. This was probably when the Russians first started cultivating him.

Both he and his cabinet have so many ties to dodgy real estate deals, money laundering, and corrupt Russian/Ukraine politicians that it's frankly amazing that the Feds didn't step in during the primaries...

Musicmystery -> RE: FFS (3/4/2017 11:59:45 AM)

Yup.

This can only eventually explode. GOP leadership must realize that?

I wouldn't be so quick in claiming that, after the last couple of years.

Just sayin'.

Pseudologia Fantastica

Some of the more extreme forms of pathological lying is Pseudologia Fantastica. This is a matrix of facts & fiction, mixed together in a way that makes the reality and fantasy almost indistinguishable. The pseudologue type pathological liar makes up stories that seem possible on the surface . . . This reality escape can be triggered of a past incident or of an unbearable present for the pseudologue.

Interesting lens for looking at the administration.

Anyone who reads your posts knows that they are insults without substance.

Put your head back up your ass where it belongs and stop trying to participate in discussions you're too lazy and ignorant to understand.

Arguable enough, but then most things cut both ways. That's part of what would make all of this outrage so funny if it wasn't tearing the country apart.

almost 50 years ago I inherited a seat on the Chicago Board of Trade
My news was delivered to my door by special corrior at 4:30 each morning.
because even back then the mainstream news was 90% BS and propaganda
and could not be trusted . trading Commodities successfully demands that
you know the True News. nothing has changed in the mainstream media except
now the main stream news is 99 and a half to 100% BS and propaganda

No, the outrage is a healthy reaction to everything that Trump represents.

But of course, the fact that you obviously haven't been paying attention makes it much easier to pretend he's just a perfectly normal president and it's the media and your dreaded liberal enemies that are to blame.

Your opinion is totally worthless.

Well then the FISA court is corrupt, or any judges are or are part of the 'alt left' or part of the conspiracy or...or...

For someone who thinks he's such a smart guy, you have a truly stupid way of simply declaring yourself to be right without actually endeavoring to prove your points.
