With the slow slide to more and more radical PC attitudes; an article about how white the Oscars are brought one of my warped mental videos out in full technicolor....

If making a WWII movie in the modern Holly-weird political climate; how many people of color would be expected to be cast in the Waffen SS?

Perhaps you might be interested in page 194 of brian davis' "german army uniforms and insignia 1933-1945". The original 1971 edition. It's the photo labelled 347 under the personal equipment section at the back of the book.I'm refering to the guy in the front ranks,second from the left.
If I remember correctly there were two or three blacks in the waffen-ss, in the legion of the "freien araber" (free arabs).
Then of course there was the fighter ace hans-joachim marseille (JG27) who had an african batman who wore an afrika korps hat. He had been a member of the british or south african forces, I forget which, who was a prisoner of war. He is pictured in "fighters over the desert" by chris shores.
Let's not forget hess...while he was not black he was african.

Let's just make them all people of color. You cannot have to many. After all, we would not want to give ISIS more recruits.

Any alt left radical will tell you, Muslims are all on the edge. The slightest little thing sets them off (so logically, that means we need to bring as many of them in as we can)

If it was in "full technicolor," all the people in the movie would be "of color." [:D]

Since Hollywood needs to be all black, all of the time in order to assuage their white guilt, why not just make the entire movie about Jessie Owens?

some years ago there was a stink about a local theater company (it might have even been an elementary school production) and director taking a lot of flak because of their insistence that the person playing Abraham Lincoln be white.

Now, as far as I'm concerned, for a grade school production, it shouldn't matter. If it was a professional production that was touting it's historical accuracy, that'd be a totally different situation.

if I remember rightly, that might have been one of the parents contentions too.

if I think about it later, i'll see if I can hunt the story up.
