Title: "My Fault"

It seems that way
That I always do wrong
How is it that it's not?
I sit and bleed from my heart
"It's my fault", I plead
"Can you forgive me?"
I hear no answer
The silence mocks me
On my knees at the figures feet
"Please! I beg you"
"I cannot and shall not live without you!"
"How could I?"
"I can't"
The figure still stands quiet
Tears streaming down my face
The figure walks away
Without a word uttered
My hope left that day
The day that I pleaded
Pleaded, that is was "My fault"

old poems die hard I suppose.

sometimes good things come to a end and it truly is sad to know you have no control over the end of something that matters so much to you.
