Besides, HRC got more votes, they were just electorially (geographically) challenged.

But I am way over the results...now the real fun has started.

Heh...

Given that your claim was that he'd started "hundreds" of posts since November, you have nothing to laugh about as one of your clade has just proven that you were lying about that.

Fake news.

Musicmystery -> RE: You lost. Just get over it. (3/8/2017 5:48:16 AM)

Yep.

Whatever claim the conservative movement once had to argument has been trashed, abandoned, pissed on, rejected, a mockery of what was originally a viable, logical, supported different approach to government.

Today, they've deliberately made themselves a joke, and like pigs in a pen, are rolling in it.

That would explain why voters have chosen to give us more power than we have had since the 1920s

That, or you have everything exactly backwards

mnottertail -> RE: You lost. Just get over it. (3/8/2017 6:22:19 AM)

No, it wouldnt. A pervasively illegal gerrymander, and the left over slavery of an electoral college, taxpayer paid continuous nutsucker political assassinations, outside interference in our elections, a non choice of lackluster presedential candidates, would explain it more accurately.

Sure, voters rejecting sense and evidence will likely vote for candidates who reject sense and evidence.

Although you might consider that the GOP lost seats in both the House and Senate, and that it's own caucus can't agree on even supposedly big things like repeal/repair of the ACA.

Not exactly a new broom sweeping clean. More like iconoclastic chaos.

Bet you alt left radicals would love to have it so bad

Control of every motherfucking thing, except for a small handful of state governments

Hilary was also going to be a problem, just different problems.

As long as the two party system continues as it is, as long as voters continue to buy into it, even when they don't like the candidates, we're going to be limping along, until a real political revolution takes place.

Meanwhile, actions based on "alternative facts" are at odds with realty, and can only lead to an eventual train wreck. The only question is how long or short that will take.

The alt left's crystal ball hasn't been exactly reliable, so...

Maybe look up "fact," "alternative," and "reality."

Perhaps "consequences" too.

Zip. Zero. Nada.

"Consequences"

Always true, even among those who don't rely on "alternative facts."

Sorry, Oprah, You Might Be Too Late

Last week, Oprah Winfrey seemingly contemplated a run for the White House in 2020. When asked if she’d considered entering that race, she responded that the 2016 presidential election had dismissed her previous concerns that she might not be qualified enough for the job.

In other words: If Donald Trump can do it, so can I.

Once one of the most influential personalities in daytime TV, Winfrey, without a doubt, had the Midas touch. Not only was she able to send authors’ book sales into orbit, but she practically killed the beef industry by expressing an opinion and made Iyanla Vanzant, Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil household names.

Winfrey, a black woman from Mississippi, did something even more impressive that might not have been so appreciated at the time. She started often-uncomfortable conversations about race and did so with the seemingly open hearts and minds of a particular demographic: white women. For many of Winfrey’s viewers, hearing about such a sensitive and controversial subject from someone they admired, whom many considered a virtual friend, made the perspectives shared more palatable. Fans watched as bigots changed their ways, interracial couples found support from once-prejudiced relatives, and minorities shared their stories of racism. Winfrey helped bridge a gap and seemed to have an intangible connection with her majority-Caucasian audience.

However, as years have passed, Winfrey may be losing her touch, indicating that it’s too late for a presidential run. For instance, after Winfrey declared her support for Hillary Clinton in 2016, 53 percent of white women resisted following her lead and voted for Trump for president.
