LadySonelle -> RE: Journals? (12/7/2004 5:32:57 PM)

Before I became a Domme, I interned for a time as a submissive/slave. I was required to keep a journal. My Master told me to write my thoughts, my feelings, what I had learned each day, five good things, five bad things each day, etc. I found that the act of keeping a journal focused me on my submissiveness and my duties toward my Master. Now that I am a lifestyle Domme, I require My slaves to keep journals as well. When I read back over My writings of the time, now, I can see how My mind began to enfold the concepts, to internalise the experiences of being a sub. I re-read them from time to time in order to get in touch again with the slave mind, the slave heart. I also talk to My slaves and ask questions. I never read their journals, just as My former Master never read Mine. The journal is not for Me, it is for *them* and for their improvement and self-understanding. Lady Sonelle
