There's no need to hark about the past GOP disasters when the current disaster is so disastrous. Dear Leader Thump is out on his own, he really has no peer or equal. I don't know if thie US has had a more venal amoral and disastrous President than the current one but there's no President in my lifetime that holds a candle to Dear Leader Thump. While Nixon might be the sole possibility, he resigned before I was born.
So you are going to have to come up with a slightly more up to date and relevant method of trying to deflect the conversation from the topic of how disastrous Dear Leader Thump really is - for the US, the West and ultimately for the world. He is a disaster of unprecedented proportions.
