Felt the need to share this with someone. I'm rather chicken crazy so when I saw a pair of shoes with a chicken print on them, I just had to buy them. Bought them at the local feed store. Ended up with a pair in red and a pair in yellow. Wasn't expecting much of the shoes as they are rubber. Rubber makes them good to go out and tend the animals, but not to wear out to the bar, or so I thought. What has amazed me is the things are soooo comfortable. They also slip on easily which is really important as I don't bend as well as I used to bend. Anyway, I looked up the brand name, Sloggers, online and found out they come in all kinds of bright and amazing patterns. They have pansy Sloggers, cow Sloggers, paw print Sloggers, leaf Sloggers, polka dot Sloggers, anyway, you get the picture. They even have solid colors for men. They come in regular slip on shoes, ankle high shoes, and rain boots, clogs, and so many amazing patterns.

Have gone a bit Slogger crazy here, but it's hard not to as they shoes are so reasonably priced. Have paid as little as $22 and as much as $34 a pair which is less than a third of the price of the shoes I've been wearing. Have the 2 chicken pairs, the pansy pair, and a wild flower print pair. Have 2 more pair that I just HAVE to get to add to my collection. Maybe another pair this summer. Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, Target, QVC, and other places all sell the shoes but not all the places have all the patterns.

Okay, call me Slogger crazy. Call me crazy to have shared my shoe shopping with you.

Yes, I am crazy about feathered creatures. I have a dozen chickens, 3 ducks, 5 geese, and 2 parakeets.

Revise that number. Just got 14 new chicks and 5 turkeys.

Yer adorable. I love that you love chickens. My daughter does as well but if I were to point out that .com to her, she would go broke. She "is" Carrie from SITC and resistance is futile when it is in regard to shoes!

Well buy her a pair for her birthday. If she is into chickens she'll love them. Don't tell her she can buy them online. I"ve had mine for 2 months before I even thought about researching them online.
