What this dude said in his Sermon was: God Grant us victory over the disbelievers, God grant us victory over the polytheist, God Grant us victory over the hypocrites and the people of envy, God Grant us victory over the Jews and the Christians In Singapore, that is considered Hate Speech so he is in trouble. Muslims in Singapore defends him and claim he is just quoting the Quran. Which I don't disagree with them at all. Then now, the Imam himself claims his words were not from the Quran. And THEN he said this bullshit: As a resident here from a foreign land, I should have practiced my faith in accordance with, and appropriate to, the social norms and laws of this country. I fully admit that my said actions have no place, wheresoever, in this extremely multi-religious and multi-cultural society. WTF shit apology is this? Is he saying encouraging people to hate non believers is acceptable in India where he comes from and other places of the world? What? Not talking smack about non-muslims is not common sense but just a Singapore social Norm thingy? This dude should be deported! Although, his apology will probably spare him from jail term now. And probably just a fine. We also had a Muslim University Lecturer who defended this Imam on Facebook and then he lost his job. The University basically say, they do not want in their employment, educators who support Hate Speech. IF only that kid who seek asylum just apologised for insulting Christians and Muslims, he would not have to serve any jail at all. But he pretty much just said to the government, "Fuck you! Come and get me and do your best!", like in Facebook publicly.

Well quite. Saying nasty things about people in public should carry a jail sentence, shouldn't it?

To keep the public peace. Anyway, this dumb Imam got fined $4000 and deported. His apology saved him from a jail term. But I am glad he got deported! I think we should just ban all foreign Imam from preaching here! Local Imam goes through a government regulated certification, so that they only preach the peaceful parts of Islam. But Foreign Imams, like this dude, preaches all the violent against non-muslims stuffs constantly!

FR I actually saw a banner at a mosque I had to walk pass today with a verse that says positive things. Something like, "Be forgetful when you have done something for others, but never forget when others have done something for you." I know there are probably some gems inside the Quran somewhere. That is one of the rare ones. Rarely quoted by Muslims too, ironically. If all Imam preaches this sort of shit instead of "Victory over non-believers" constantly. Maybe Extremism will come down.
