Looking forward to seeing that, if anyone is surprised, ill eat a trump hat.
The trailer is enticing too.
After the Paris Climate plan, I had such high hopes, to see that india and china were agreeing to it,
knowing that Trump honed in on it for the money he would lose just made it uglier, he never was a fan.
His EPA EO is horrendous.
Im PISSSSSSSED with trudeau and the govmnt for backing off so much with regards to the keystone pipeline.
Deniers will keep denying.
And whinge about it.
in 3...

Yeah. The tar sands are one of the saddest messes on the planet.

InfoMan -> RE: "Inconvenient Sequel" hits theatres July 28th (4/7/2017 5:57:11 AM)

didn't the first Inconclusive Truth film say New York would be under 20 feet of water, there would be no more ice in the south pole, and polar bears would be extinct by now?
I wonder if the Inconceivable Sequel will address the incorrect predictions in episode one....

CreativeDominant -> RE: "Inconvenient Sequel" hits theatres July 28th (4/7/2017 6:24:36 AM)

I wo see why fantasy movie makers always feel the need to do a sequel?

Are you aware that Miami streets are flooded at high tide, and that polar bears are indeed threatened?

Or does only the exact wording matter?

So, the Reverend Gore is back, preaching fire and brimstone while passing the collection plate. His private jet doesn't fuel itself, you know - and his mansion has an incredibly large carbon footprint as well. Costs a lot in utilities!

I denied nothing, moron. And I attacked the topic just as I was on topic

You are once again describing your own post, as you so often do

https://www2.usgs.gov/climate_landuse/glaciers/glaciers_sea_level.asp

Water levels have been rising ever since we've began observing them, it has been projected that ocean levels have risen ~400 feet in the past 21,000 years, but since the 1900's ocean levels have only risen something like 6-8 inches...

There are plenty of ancient coastal cities which have been lost to the sea for hundreds of years because of rising ocean levels that all occurred well before we started burning coal for power.

So Miami streets getting flooded during high tide is arguably natural given the steady rate ocean levels have been rising for centuries now.

http://dailycaller.com/2016/12/22/polar-bear-population-is-rising-despite-green-fears/

I guess the polar bears didn't get the memo that they where threatened...
apparently their population levels are higher now then they where 40 years ago.

There's a reason it's called "denial."

Nothing to see here. Not now, not ever, right?

NoirMetal -> RE: "Inconvenient Sequel" hits theatres July 28th (4/7/2017 8:05:38 AM)

lol.I would not piss on Al Gore if he was on fire.

Musicmystery -> RE: "Inconvenient Sequel" hits theatres July 28th (4/7/2017 8:07:28 AM)

Me neither. He's an idiot.

But if he points out there's a sun at the center of our solar system, that won't make it false.

Except to the right.

It's denial to prove you wrong?
I guess if you are saying that you're in denial then that could be true...

What the hell? You haven't proven anything, stupid moron. Just posted a bunch of pretend science news. You don't suppose, that perhaps, banning polar bear hunting after the 70s had anything to do with an increase of their numbers since then?

Has it occurred to you, oh Almighty thinking one, that factors other than that might impact polar Bear population's? That melting sea ice will have an impact?

Or are you one of these priceless princesses who says oh no the sea ice isn't really melting!

WickedsDesire -> RE: "Inconvenient Sequel" hits theatres July 28th (4/7/2017 9:30:07 AM)

The LGM (last glacial maximum) occurred about 21,000 BP (before present) probably that eh - and the source of many a flood myth...and its thousands of years dumbfuk not "100's"

Even I know Greenland is wrecked/lost - Antarctica not wholly, for the moment.

Science marches on....

You know, medicine is not an exact science, but we are learning all the time. Why, just fifty years ago, they thought a disease like your daughter's was caused by demonic possession or witchcraft. But nowadays we know that Isabelle is suffering from an imbalance of bodily humors, perhaps caused by a toad or a small dwarf living in her stomach. ~Theodoric of York

What's amazing to me is: here, we have a sequel, eleven years after the original which predicted the planet's doom "in ten years".

That's magical. Maybe algore is g-d?

Typical "liberal" posting style.

Q: How do you make a "liberal" mad?

A: You don't need to do anything, they're completely mad already
