Status: offline 		In an intriguing development, Dear Leader Thump's chief adviser and founder of the far right fake new site Breitbart, has lost his position on the National Security Council. The NSC was re-fashioned to re-include some senior military figures that had been thrown off the NSC upon Bannon's arrival there a month or two ago.

On the face of things, this would seem to be a victory for the "Deep State" which has been at loggerheads with Dear Leader Thump and his team though some might feel that the term "internal power struggle" might describe these events and the overall situation more accurately. Indeed at this point it is unclear whether "lost his position" or "was sacked" might be the best descriptor for Bannon's removal from the NSC.

While it might be too early to draw definitive conclusions ....some questions seem to almost asking themselves:
*Is this the beginning of the end for Bannon, a truly loathsome person whose appointment to such a senior position in the Administration was controversial to say the very least?
*Will this Admin now be able to develop some semblance of coherent foreign and national security policies?
*Will Dear Leader Thump stay true to form and blame Obama/Dems for the upheavals and turmoil riddling his Administration?

No doubt there are many more questions to be asked about this latest turmoil in the fledgling Administration ...

That Jared seems to be one sharp operator doesn't he? His rise has been meteoric (and of course he married well as they say) though given the history of this Administration to date, meteoric rises are often precursors to equally meteoric falls ...

When Bannon was put on the NSC there were all kinds of stories about how he had tricked Trump into rearranging the whole council... the fact that it's back to normal means that sanity is prevailing. I don't know who is responsible exactly, but I'm pretty sure it's related to the fact that Trump is in the process of being 'contained'.

I'm thinking that Trump has reached the point where he realizes he never should have run for president and has essentially given up trying. He is a lot more comfortable handing his duties off to other people while he handles the ridiculous tweets, public relations stunts and travels around on the taxpayer's dime.

Impeachment is looming and sooner or later he's going to realize he made a mistake and that being president is going to ruin his life. Nobody actually cared about all of the sketchy shit in his past before he got into politics... he could have had a nice retirement, but now he's going to die as an enormous disgrace and embarrassment to his country.

I mean, come on... he's 70 years old and has no political experience. At 70 he's going to become a political mastermind who will lead the nation to greatness? A lot of people have been retired for a decade by his age! Even if they get another job, they don't take on the most stressful job in the world! The entire situation is absurd... he must be realizing it and it wouldn't at all surprise me if Kushner was standing up and taking charge. I mean, Kushner family... Bannon is a scumbag who humiliated him in front of everyone.

A broad majority of Americans do not believe that they have heard the real reason for Steve Bannon’s abrupt removal from the National Security Council but desperately hope that, when that reason ultimately emerges, it will not involve a sex tape.

The snapshot of a nation praying for Bannon’s exit to be explained by anything but a sex tape was captured by a poll taken late on Wednesday, in which more than ninety per cent of Americans expressed their anxiety about such an outcome.

When poll respondents were asked about the real reason for Bannon’s removal, forty-two per cent said that they hoped it would involve a financial scandal, thirty-one per cent said that they hoped it would somehow relate to Russia, and zero per cent said that they hoped for a sex tape.
The terror inspired by the thought of a Bannon-based sex tape cut across party lines, with Democrats calling the idea slightly more traumatizing than Republicans did.

Finally, when asked how they would react if Bannon’s sudden departure did, in fact, turn out to involve a sex tape, an overwhelming majority “strongly agreed” with the statement “Please, please, please, God, no.”

Status: offline 		The spin is that "this move was planned for a few months" and that "he was only there to keep an eye on Flynn," as they "knew there was a problem there."

Apparently, Bannon went to exactly one meeting.

“We are also told, though, that maybe the president wasn’t particularly happy with the way that Bannon had been grabbing the limelight, and that may have also played into all of this.”

And, seems Bannon threatened to quit as a result of the demotion, but a wealthy donor convinced him to stay for the long game.
