It's not literally unconstitutional, true.

It certainly isn't in the spirit of how that constitution is supposed to work.

It was a deliberate circumvention of a sitting president being able to nominate a Justice by the Senate's politically motivated refusal to hold hearings and vote.

This now becomes the new normal -- if the Senate is controlled by the opposition, a president cannot get hearings on a nominee.

More to the point, the new normal is conspiring to accuse a sitting president of stealing the election without evidence and dedicating your entire being as a party to undermining the duly elected United States government purely for partisan gain, to include the Honorable Supreme Court Justice who was seated by the rules that your own party openly stated are the new norm

Then pretending that the Republicans, are doing the very things that you yourself have been doing and also pretending to be indignant about it

1) I'm not a Democrat. So I don't see how "my party" had anything to do with this.
2) Your skill at straw man construction is impressive. Your ability to argue points, nonexistent.
3) No one's pretending. The Republicans did it, and people are actually indignant.
4) Also as usual, you're unable to see or consider long-term consequences, so you parrot the party line.

Hardly "the new normal" as it's been an ongoing thing for over eight years now: the Republicans spent Obama's two terms doing just what you're complaining about, which is why the whining about the Democrats now treating an electoral college appointee with a similar degree of contempt is such an utterly pathetic display of double standards and hypocrisy.

Status: offline 		WM, you're the one not paying attention. The presidential election isn't judged on the popular vote. It is decided by who wins the most electors from each individual state. We had 50 seperate elections and President Trump won the majority of electors. That is how the founding fathers in their genius set up our system so it wouldn't be decided by popular vote.
