ah Michael, my apologies, I replied to the wrong post. this is meant for the OP:

leaving aside the rest of your inconsistencies, non-starters and other problems with logic, it would be helpful if you and other lefties would actually learn what the word "liar" really means.

Gold leaf chairs (honest)- he’s ripping the piss, well as much as you can from blunt brains who voted for agent orange plop jobbie reap your own foul stench jackals guffaws guffaws beholds its utter wreckage.

Just in: FBI most wanted – some monstrous orange cunt seen wheelbarrowing the gold out of fort knox, muttering to itself like a complete insane fuk, something about the kiddies and he is too orange to pay a dime in taxes

WhoreMods -> RE: How has Donald Trump's position on Syria changed? (4/8/2017 12:35:57 PM)

Presumably Putin's had a falling out with el presidente because the orange cockwomble had promised him solid gold chairs after he was done looting fort knox?

Unlike me you are too generous. I read up on all this you know. I believe its called a triple lobotomy, carried out, simultaneously, with three goats cock and a potato masher, embeded deep within its thicko skull – seems rational if you prepeared to think it through. Debate rages on whether the mad fuk has tiny hands, claws of reeking pussy stench, cloven of foot, with shrunken willy, and answers to the name of Billy

WhoreMods -> RE: How has Donald Trump's position on Syria changed? (4/8/2017 12:56:24 PM)

Surely the size of el presidente's brain (even tinier than his hands) you'd need a couple of toothpicks and the smallest embroidery needle you can find?

dear god thats a visual and a half...LMAO

For the topic...with the amount of damage that wasnt done in the attack..
And with all else going on, I am finding it bemusing.
It was a bitch slap. If he meant to send a message, it wasnt powerful enough.
Im a pacifist, but it was very poorly thought out as a "we wont be fucked with" message.
Of course, the more we "learn", my opinion such as it is, might change.

DaddySatyr -> RE: How has Donald Trump's position on Syria changed? (4/8/2017 2:36:14 PM)

Obviously, once again, I disagree with old "Double Hockey Sticks" there.

I think the response was near perfect. It's good that there wasn't a ton of material damage done. Although, I would have preferred no deaths, the response did exact a cost.

Beyond the "cost", the attack sent the message that we are willing and able to take things like chemical attacks seriously.

I think of this as nothing more than a "brushback" pitch (or what we used to call "chin music") in baseball. It says: "I CAN hit you in the face, any time I want. I'm not prepared to do so, yet, but keep inching closer and closer and you might just get a few teeth broken."

I oppose the U.S. implementing or effecting regime change (especially right now while DAESH is a concern), but letting Assad know that Putin's umbrella of protection is neither absolute nor a concern to us is a powerful message.

Call this one "a shot across the bow".

To me it is not always what is done...but why. President Trump is not a thoughtful President. He is rash and impulsive and is always thinking and acting on what makes him look good... he needs this like a child. He does not act on personal convictions, I don't think he gives a rats ass about Muslim children choking on nerve gas, but what action will make him look like a hero and stroke his ego.

I've been here quite some time and I don't remember ever hearing praise for Clinton when he pulled the trigger. And when Obama went against his own party to aggressively pursue drone attacks against radical leadership...anywhere in the world...where was the praise then?

This action does not deserve praise... it does not show balls or manhood... it was a unfortunate necessity that needed to be done when all other options had been exhausted by the previous administration. We have no right to be proud of killing and destruction. Instead it is a failure of world leadership that led to this point in time when we had no other choice.

I'm not sure when this site was started, but I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut (I like chocolate ones) that President Clinton was at least in his last year before this launched. I know I've been here a good, long, while and I got here in AUG of '06 (yes, I'm old enough now where, when I was typing that, I was saying: "aught six" in my head). Certainly long after President Clinton was sticking Cuban cigars in older gals.

I can't swear to it, but I would be willing to bet that if Dumbo ears had done something like this, I probably would have supported it. Unfortunately, all he ever did militarily was put us on the wrong side of the Arab Spring movement and, essentially involve us in regime change/empire building. I'll always be against that.

I'm sitting here, trying to think of a time when ODumbo Ears did anything comparable to this and I can't.

Of course, Obummer, (Susan) Rice, and Kerry all claimed that their friend, Putin had removed all the chemical weapons from Syria. Let's assume that's true. I wonder which nation might have given Assad some replacements?

If the president had ignored the gas attack, if he acted swiftly to send a message, doesn't matter. Rabid, insane, hateful leftists will attack him just the same either way

I think this is the crux of it.

Illegal chemical weapons are being used now! Big time illegal! There is no win for Trump on this one, regardless what action he takes. But the right thing to do is not ignore it in this case.

He is making the right decision to start being concern for this one.

He's also distracting attention from domestic fuck ups by bombing a foreign country, and had something else to talk to the Chinese Premier about yesterday besides the threats he's been making to North Korea.
Maybe I'm a cynic, but those strike me as more important concerns for el presidente than humanitarian issues.

The right decision would be for all the cowardly chairborn rangers like you to buy a ticket in the body bag lotto.
Until you are willing to put your punk ass on the line shut the phoque up about putting others in harms way.

You got any more kids you want to buy a ticket to the body bag lotto for or have you grown a pair big enough to buy one for yourself?
