Status: offline 		Hello, I was just curious if any Mistresses preferred physically smaller slaves for ongoing power exchange relationships? It has been my experience that most Mistresses don't really care if it involves paid sessions or financial domination. However, when it comes to a 24/7 or a long term relationship, most seem to prefer taller slaves. Everyone has their own preferences, but I was just curious what people thought.

Slaves on their knees are usually pretty short.

Now this is looking more like a personal ad. Thinking you were hoping some Mistresses would write and say they preferred smaller submissives and you could write to those Mistresses.

If you really and truly want to find a Mistress, find your local munch. Go to munch. Socialize. Make yourself useful. Volunteer when there are things that need done. Show how helpful you are. Make friends. Wow those Mistresses with what a helpful wonderful person you are.

Status: offline 		Most women are attracted to taller men. Most men are attracted to thinner women. When you get to know someone sometimes those qualities become immaterial. In my experience munches are a complete waste of time as are most online sites. I think you are better off trying a personals site like OKCupid, Match, POF or something with a carefully worded ad or try regular dating at the same time.

It helps if someone is taller. Otherwise you can only use two thirds of the cabinet space.

Yes, okay. Some Mistresses prefer blue eyes. Some prefer blond. Some prefer mustaches. Some prefer beards. Some prefer clean shaven. Some like big hands. Some like delicate hands. Some like big feet. Some like small feet. So you know already that everyone prefers something else.

Again, I say you were hoping some Mistresses who don't prefer tall submissives would write here. That way you could write to them without taking the time to write to some Mistresses who might not with a short submissive.

What you do at a munch is get involved. Make friends. Be helpful. If something needs done, volunteer. Show how helpful you might be in someone's life. Wow those Mistresses with your personality. If you do that even Mistresses who believe they don't want a short submissive might end up being very impressed with you. You might even find that special person you seek.

By the way, I met my Dom at a BDSM event that was put on by a munch group. It was a camping event. He and some friends traveled 600 miles to attend that event. I only had to travel about 120 miles. We were from different states. Although we both had profiles here and on ALT we had never even looked at each other due to the distance. Things happen when you meet someone in person. Distances become doable under the right circumstances, just as short stature becomes doable under the right circumstances. Another by the way, although my Dom was taller than me when we met, compression fractures of his back and age has shrunk him. We are now the same height, 5 feet 1 inch. He's just as good a Dom now as he was then. Height makes no difference.

Status: offline 		You are right. Height makes no difference as to whether someone is dominant or submissive. It's a personality trait more than anything. I just happen to be both short and submissive.

I appreciate all of the information and your honest opinion.

Status: offline 		I have never paid attention to a man's height when starting to talk to him on CollarSpace. Unless he brings it up before we meet, I don't really have a clear expectation of how tall he'll be until I first lay eyes on him.
Height is not a criteria I desire or which turns me off. However, how a man feels about his own height, and how that affects his confidence IS very much a criteria I care about.
Nothing is more unattractive than a lack of self-confidence.

If height or lack thereof would be...magnified in their own mind to the point where their own opinion yells so loud that my own opinion cannot be heard, then it would be a problem. In other words, long ago I had a significant other who was one inch shorter than I was. He would be crushed if I wore heels that made him look 3 inches shorter than me. He asked me to slouch a bit, and wear flat shoes, so that he wouldn't feel...invisible, humiliated in a bad way, blah blah blah. If a man can't be comfortable in his own skin when he's with me, I'm going to lose interest. If he's not compatible with me emotionally, mentally, morally, and isn't loyal...these are the things I'm using to screen him out, not height, weight, nor other physical attributes.
